  1. I don't know or care ( not being smart ) about the way the TSSAA makes their decisions, I think if a kid can go to a school of their choice than that's great. I think in most of these cases that are discussed on here about recruiting one very important factor is left out, their parents or legal guardians have to make the final say so as to where they will attend, no one, not Baylor or Bradley etc. has the power to make a kid come to their school for what ever reason, except their legal guardians.

  2. Who cares about polls, I thought the goal was to win on the mat. Now I know Bradley doesn't wrestle Baylor or McCallie, and I don't think that they could beat them year in and year out, but I also didn't think they would beat Soddy this year. They do wrestle whoever shows up at the Cleveland duals which usually has some of Georgia's best (Right RMC). And I think a match between the DI and DII would be great, alot like the one between Parkview and Bradley a few years ago at UTC. But in the end the Bears wrestle for the Title that they have to just like the DII schools. Talk to the TSSAA, we all know what they will say.

    GO BEARS.

  3. Congrats to Kenwood, I just saw that Bradley's line up was really moved around and they forfeited the last match also. Kenwood won 3 close matches Bradley 1

Creagan at 171 from there to Sivley at heavy, the line up all moved up one don't know how much it effected this match, not much i would say. GO BEARS and good luck to all.

  4. I think Travis will be just fine no matter what weight he is at. To me his biggest asset is his patience on the mat, rarely does he get involved in mad scrambles and he pays attention to his position on the mat and the clock as well as I've seen, albeit I'm no expert he seems to be in the right positon at the right time in most close matches. Travis remember Stay hungry, Stay humble, you represent the sport well continue to due so. God bless and have a great year. Go Bears!

  5. CoachGonyeaSHS, you seem to have some people interested in this why don't you try holding one or maybe you have, then gather the input put together a proposal and present it with a petition. I think as much as these young men put into this sport we should give them as much of a chance to wrestle in an event that is as even as can be. There are some things to consider, 1- different divisions,2- a possible remerge ( in the future ) between public and private, this would surely affect the loser round in a double elimination, 3- how the tournement is drawn, will seedings be included? 4- why not add it to the other Dual and Individual tourneys? Better for everyone fans, coaches and most important the wrestlers. Maybe you could use RMC to help with a model setup or presentation, I know Creagan ( the father not the wrestler ) has done some real good dvds for their program, maybe he could help? Good luck and God bless to all this season.

  6. Would someone please tell Bledsoebtheboys who he is, he might not know and could be needing someone to tell him how to get home from school or somewhere else, how would you feel if you didn't know who you were and asked for help from someone who you thought might know and wouldn't help. Not to good huh?

  7. No way polk will lose, they have the "Legendary" Larry Davis as an assistant, all those big linemen and those big punishing backs. Loudons' win was a fluke. Everybody else just needs to stay home and save the gas money instead of showing up to play them.

  8. I'm going out on a limb here and say that the team who wins will win because of the direct result of out scoring the other team, now with that being said I will make my prediction sometime after the game has ended. How the winning team out scores the other team (also known as the losing team) will also be known after the game.

  9. What! I can't believe it you mean Polk was beat that badly at the "Lengendary Larry Davis " field, even with him helping and all that size of their line and running backs. Well I'm sure they will bounce back. :thumb:

  10. Yes, the place is nice, but why do you keep calling Coach Davis a legend? I was there when he coached against Smith County in 85, he didn't do anything special, sorry if this offends anyone but it's the facts, that team was loaded, and did Polk have to move up a division or could they just not get by Tyner? Well at least you can say that you had some good years ( not great) but realistically they just don't have the atheletes to compete year in and year out ..i.e. Baseball down, girls and boys basketball down. What they should do is start a wrestling team they could fill all the weights with tough kids!
