1. QUOTE(tcross @ Mar 9 2007 - 01:01 PM) 826406272If you say so!! If given the opportunity we will see!! Who are you, it appears that you know me and i dont know you. How would you know if i come to the ball game or not!! And who gives a care what you and mr. everything thinks. You both sound like yall are coaches or something!! I think i can get on here and post what i want!! If its basketball or baseball!! Who made you the moderate on here!! Oh and by the way!! Am I getting under your skin because you know im right!!

He will get the chance this year and when the season is over why don't you post back on her and tell everybody what school he signed with to play baseball. No i'm not a coach but you don't have to be to know you don't know what your talking about. All you have to do is come and watch the games. By the way how many games did you say you went to last year? I think if you honestly answer that everyone will know that your posts about Giles Co. baseball should be ignored. Stick to basketball posts at least i see you at those games.

  2. QUOTE(tcross @ Mar 8 2007 - 04:58 PM) 826405251Did he get to pitch a lot or play last year? Without a doubt, he will play ball at the next level. Just hide and watch!! The last time I check does a pitcher have to have a outstanding offensive game and have he been given the chance to display his offensive game? What does basketball have to do with his game performance?

What are you smoking Garrett playing at the next level ? You must know something nobody else knows. I've never even seen you at any Giles Co. games so how would you know anything about who should play and who should not play. I really don't think you know what you are talking about when it comes to baseball stick to basketball posts.

  3. QUOTE(bigSHHSfan @ Mar 7 2007 - 12:27 PM) 826403584Spring Hill is really good i went and saw them play the other day and they whooped Hampshire 25-1.

    Haha

Finally something other than how great the Marshall Co. coaches are thanks SHHS. What kind of pitching does Spring Hill have this year? How is the new coach working out?

  4. QUOTE(#1VolFan @ Feb 26 2007 - 07:45 PM) 826390598What type of pitching and outfielders will Giles Co have this year? I hear they lost all three outfielders (Seniors) last year.

Spring Hill will surprise everyone this year!!!!!

Giles Co. will have 3 new outfielders this year. Giles will have a hard time filling shoes of last years outfield. Pitching will be in good shape this year and could carry this team.

  5. QUOTE(SuperSport @ Feb 26 2007 - 12:12 PM) 826390090I don't think that Marshall's mid infield is too weak, although all is relative. When Lintz pitches, all they should have to do is show up. The Centerfield error is just my mistake.

Laxson has made errors, but I watched him a ton at Columbia State this summer, and he was a totally different player. Can't say he'll play perfect, but being his senior year, he should be better. If he's as bad as you say, the coach there shouldn't have stuck with him that long.

I would say Loretto is playing 1A teams because those teams don't know what Coach Lamb will do to get a W.

Laxson never won the job of shortstop it was given to him. And everybody knows when a job is given and not earned it don't matter how bad you play the coach always has a reason why he thinks that player should be there. Hopefully your right and he has improved but time will tell. Nothing against him personally but he's made some errors at big times. And your right about coach Lamm he will do anything to get that W.

  6. QUOTE(SuperSport @ Feb 23 2007 - 11:39 AM) 826385893Welcome back Pageman, glad to hear from you. If anyone can predict this season it's this guy.

I would say that almost every year the team that has the best defense wins the district. For that reason Marshall is the favorite. Giles should have a good defense also, with a 4 yr starter in Laxson, 3 yrs in Edgmon, and returners at every other position in the infield besides catcher.

Just because Laxson started for 4 yrs. don't make him a good shortstop he makes alot of errors. But they manage to play through some of the errors that are made.

  7. QUOTE(Spurrierfan @ Feb 21 2007 - 10:54 AM) 826382734It seems like people are taking Marshall County based on tradition and Lentz. Loretto seems to have two good arms. Who does Giles have that makes people want to put them in the top of the district? Why are Spring Hill, Lewis County, and Page at the bottom? No talent, bad programs, etc...

Giles Co. has pitchers Rob Holley and Clay Sanderson and Kelby Sutton along with hitters like Sam Edgmon, Josh Perez. If they can find a catcher it would be nice. They have a Wells kid has a good bat but needs to improve on defense and throwing arm before he can take over behind the plate.

  8. QUOTE(Spurrierfan @ Feb 20 2007 - 07:51 AM) 826380667Ive heard about Loretto's nice field. What are the other fields in the district like?

Giles Co. has a real nice field , Marshall Co. infield is nice but outfield rough, Page has a hill in leftfield, Lewis Co. has a good field nothing special and Spring Hill has the worst field in the district infield rough outfield rough and don't drain very well.

  9. Tough call on who's going to win the district this year i would pick Marshall Co. right now with Giles Co. second and Loretto third but injuries could change all that. Which pitcher from Loretto is hurt and when do they expect him back? If he gets back soon enough they could be second who knows maybe even first. Coach Lamm may coach differant without his son on the team.

  10. QUOTE(baseball @ Feb 18 2007 - 08:48 PM) 826378331MR EVERYTHING there is no way u could be from LORETTO with comments like that. Coach LAMN took kids that would not even start at most schools in the district and one great arm and was a couple of hits from being at spring fling. Loretto will be down alittle this year on def. hitting will be a little weak but they do have a couple of good arms that will keep them in most games. And also nobody has a nicer place to play ball in the district than the mighty mustangs!!!

Your right i'm not from Loretto but i've seen enough games to know what kind of talent they had. Year before last they came within one game of the state then with everybody coming back they did'nt even make it that far. It's funny everytime you say something about Loretto they always bring up how nice the field is maybe coach Lamm should become a groundskeeper for some pro team because i don't care how nice the field is that don't win you ballgames.

  11. QUOTE(Spurrierfan @ Feb 16 2007 - 02:07 PM) 826374756

Didnt Loretto lose a lot of seniors last year?

Of course they lost Mark Lamm but they have plenty of talent coming back. The biggest problem they have is a coach that has no class and no ability to lead the team as far as they should go. The players he has had the last couple of years and could not get to the state backs up what i say.

  12. QUOTE(Spurrierfan @ Feb 12 2007 - 12:07 PM) 826368627

    Teams:

    Giles County (Pulaski)

    Lewis County (Hohenwald)

    Loretto

    Marshall County (Lewisburg)

    Page (Franklin)

    Spring Hill (Columbia)

Whos got the talent in this District? Best coaching?

Marshall Co. , Loretto , Giles Co. I think have the most talent and between those 3 Marshall Co. has the best coaching.

  13. ive heard throught the grape vine that richlands freshman qb has transfered to cross town rival giles county.is this true???and if so do u think he will be a star for giles county the next couple of years??i would really like to kno what u raider n bobcat fans think.

Sounds like you need to start this as a new topic it has nothing to do with last nights game except this QB did play after it got out of hand. It is true he is playing for GCHS.

  14. If a game is suspended when it is resumed the next day does the same pitcher have to go to the mound till the umpire says play ball? Or can a pitching change be made while the game is suspended? Just wondering!!

  15. Thanks for the info. I saw the posting on the TSSAA website, but I guess it could be a mistype. How are the facilities and the field at Spring Hill? I know it seems to be a pretty nice town.

Field sits in a hole right field is always wet. Other than that it is a nice field.
