I guess the bozos are getting on their buses for tonight's games - lol. I'll try to get some names of the umps at Loretto tonight so we can start naming names and kicking butts.

The umpires last night was Boshears behind plate and some guy from Columbia named Barney on bases.

Thats gotta be tough for Giles. Thats two losses in extras to Loretto in a row. Their first game was close too wasn't it?

First game went 8 innings also. That is 3 tough loses.

i can personally say i have played on both fields and the playing surface of CREEK WOOD is 10x better it is a for real place

I was at Creekwood this past weekend and i have to agree that place is very very nice!!! It's the best on campus field i've seen.

Who won this tournament? And what was the scores of the semi-finals and finals games?

I noticed on Giles Co. schedule they have stacked there non-district games with single A teams....no offense to those teams but shouldn't a double A school who considers themselves competitive play other competitive teams????

As long as you're competitive against AA teams what differance does it make who you play in non-district games?

The game had about 30 flags thrown.( no joke) Creekwoods special teams killed them tonight Giles ran back the opening kickoff then when they kicked off the Creekwood player just stood there and Giles Co. recovered. The snapper for the punt team had 2 bad snaps that lead to points both times. Giles Co. also had a touchdown called back. Alot of the flags where way behind the play.

I bet every district and region in the state wish they had someone like pageman to report on games. Thanks for the report on the Harpeth game today sounds like it was a great game.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the work you done this year reporting on games in 9AA. Even after Page was out of the tournament you still went all the way to Loretto for the championship game and the back for the region games. I loved reading your reports on each game you went to no matter who won you still posted them. You don't trash talk any team or any player like alot of people do on this site. Great Job!!! See ya next year.

Giles Co. 10 Fairview 9 in 8 innings. Giles was down 9 to 4 going to bottom of 7th came back and tied it and won in the 8th inning!!

Thanks Page Man, i just wanted to know your opinion on the matters and what you saw.  Yeah we seniors will miss it all, but dont worry, i have already made a few promises to our amazing junior class that i will return to watch them play a few next year.  Now off to college.

No whinning here we just got beat. The umpires did not cost us the game we just could not get the hits we needed to win. The pitcher from Loretto pitched a great game. The umpires made a good game a joke with at least a 30 min. delay in the bottom of the 7th. They had no clue what to do till coach Lamm showed them the rule book. They need to work on what position to be in on a 3 man crew. They were out of position several times. P.S. Why was coach Lamms hair blond did he lose a bet.

Martin Methodist is done for the season so there is no conflict with them. Lewis Co. has to be a 3:30 game due to them not having lights. I don't think you can blame them on that. Page rarely has that early of games in district games. Seems to me Giles Co. wants the other team to be at a disadvantage , which I guess they earned by getting 1st place.

You are right Martin is done now but just letting you know what we go through every year with playing games on one field. Since babe ruth already has the field scheduled we have to take the time they give us to play. Would be nice to play a little later because it would mean more money from the gate.

I think the game is 6:30 or 7:00.  Lewisburg has 2 radio stations - WJJM 1490 AM/94.3 FM and WAXO 1220 AM.  I haven't seen the WAXO guys lately at the baseball games, but WJJM has been there.  WJJM has a web site www.wjjm.com which has a link to listen to their live broadcasts.  Click on the microphone at the top left corner.

It's very hard to schedule games for Martin College, Giles Co. high and Babe Ruth on one field. But everyone seems to work together real well to get them in. It's no worse than going to Lewis Co. for a 3:30 game. And did'nt Page play a game at 5:00 Tuesday night? If you want to be there you will find a way.

Corey Pierce & Richard Petty are the pitchers and Lee Moss is the best hitter. And how can coach Mark Cardin not get coach of the year? Nobody thought Giles Co. would win the district this year. Good job BOBCATS!!
