Does anyone have information on the Tourney in Franklin this weekend?

What are the pools for the CCHS tourney this weekend? I know Pool C, What about A and B?

That's funny about Bearden. We played a 3 inning JV game with them after the Varsity game that was cut short due to rain. I think there were only three or four other players besides the Varsity players that played the JV game.

I have seen pitchers develop new pitches over the winter that change their overall performance. I have seen pitchers that had a great fastball and rise in summer ball, then try to add a screw, cruve and drop that messed up the other pitches. High School coaches, from what I've seen, out a high premium on hitting spots. Sometimes that causes a pitcher to 'guide' the ball instead of a regular windup and release. That an affect both speed and accuracy. That's my two cents worth.

Farragut JV doesn't get much press either. We lost to William Blount in the Championship of the Morristown East Tournament and one other game in pool play, but have not lost a JV game since (10-2), including Maryville, WB and Bearden. Sounds like WB and Farragut have a great rivalry to look forward to.

Does anyone know how to find box scores of previous games on the Internet? Do newspapers archive them?

If Maryville and Beech ended up co-champions, who knocked WB out of the Tournament?
