What is wrong with the Clay Co. football team, if anything? I notice they haven't played very well in the last two games. Are some of the key players injured or has discontent surfaced and the coach can't handle it? They should be in the hunt for the region title, but now they are just playing for a playoff spot. What does anyone else think?

Terrance Adams will have a field day. He should declare open season on Friendships' QB, because I understand he cannot handle pressure to well, and has very little blocking. G-35 FSC-14

Some of you people need to wake up. The RBS-ClayCo. game was played on FRi. Sept 19.

Macon Co. , Macon Co., Macon Co. . You win three games and your fans think have the best team ever at the school. You people need to look at the games played so far: Game 1 you barely beat a mid level 2A school and in game 2 you go to Portland and choke. In game 3 you barely beat Livingston and if it weren't for that so called Macon Majic(a couple of trick plays) and poor coaching on the part of the Wildcats, you would have lost. and finally who can brag about game 4. Dekalb Co. is a region door mat and you guys were barely able to wipe your feet. Don't do any bragging about your team until they can beat Smith Co. and Trousdale Co. But don't count on beating either one especially the jackets, because no matter how well you are prepared or how much you are ahead, Satterfield will always find a way to win.(just ask your junior high coach and the varsity assistants who call his plays for him)

Why shouldn't Clay co. be confident? They are the superior team in every part of the game. they will have a cakewalk the next 2 games. They should be preparing for their next difficult opponent which is Watertown. Clay Co. will win by as much as they want.(sorry RBS)

I hear that Clay Co. has some injuries, but I am not sure who it is . Can anyone give me some info.

Whenever I log on to the forums and click on the bigones from the football board, it tells me I am not logged on. I log on again and get the same results when I try to make my picks. Any suggestions?

Hey Dawgs! We thought you were gone for good. What class are you in at this time? I agree with Ceaser except I think Celina may surprise some teams. I hear that G-ville will live and die by the QB. Good luck to all Region 4 teams this year.

Okay now here is the scoop on the scrimmage at RBS. The plays started on the 30 yard line for each possession reguardless of where the ball was turned over or possession change over on downs. When Pickett had the ball they took as much time in the huddle as needed to set up there plays, where as RBS ran their plays in real game time. Pickett did score first but we turned the ball over on our next 2 possessions and continued to hold them scoreless. RBS score on Pickett the next series after that. We ran five more plays at Coach's request and I guess you could say Pickett scored when RBS tried running a lineman at fullback in the rain and he fumbled and they picked it up. The coaches felt we played much better on offense than the week before.

When is the Trousdale Jamboree?

HEY!!! Hold on just a doggone(no pun intended) minute. I think scrappy forgot about the Clay Co. Bulldogs. From what we have seen they are a number three or four team at least in the region. Don't count your chickens before they hatch, the Bulldogs will be bad to the bone

I can't seem to find out anything about the Zion Christian football team in Columbia. There is nothing in the Tennessee High School Football Book. I know this is their first year with a varsity schedule, other than that I have not read anything about them. Any information will be helpful.

Who was the DC at Marion Co. in the early 90's? They were real tough on the defensive side of the ball then.

I am not sure who you are, but I don't think you are a member of the team now. Give us a clue as to your ID, like your junior high number and position or even your grade for the coming year. I don't think it is official yet, but I understand that Coach Baughn is going to resign as baseball coach at RBS. If this is true, What's going on with that team? They have lost 2 good coaches in two years. Can anyone shed some light on this matter?
