  1. Sounds like you need to get off the compter and go to the batting cages.
  2. When is the last time Lincoln Co. beat Coffee Co.?
  3. That's what I meant to say.
  4. This kind of behavior is exactly what I'm talking about. Wear your red! You're already out.
  5. My bad.....I never claimed to know anything about Beech. I remember the 2001 team.......2 and out.
  6. Sure she did! Why didn't she want to spend time with her family last year? Let me answer..........because she knew she had a very good team that could win it all.
  7. With all due respect to Kristin Stanfill, have we forgotten about Jenny Graybush, Courtney Boynton, Camille Harris, Amber Warren, Carissa Lowery, Brittney Sinyard and the rest of the cast? Lowery would be my choice as the leader of that team. Stanfill played a mean right field and swung a big bat, but I wouldn't say she "got them to the dance". As far as Beech being "in the mix", I believe when coach Brinkley bailed out after last year that say's it all. She knew the well was dry so she got out when the gettin' was good.
  8. I don't blame you for wanting it to die, and since your such a nice guy, I will not bring it up again.
  9. NO......NO.........NO.........Hooterville won't make it out of the district tournament. The gap between Soddy and Ooltewah is enormous. Ooltewah hasn't beat Soddy in 6 years.
  10. No, actually it hasn't been played yet, but if I were a gambling man I would say that there will be at least 3 (A,AA,AAA) sectional (sub-state) games in the Chattanooga area.
  11. You want to talk about this year, fine. If Coffee Co. wins the state (I'm assuming this is there goal) I'm sure everyone in the state, not just me and you, will be surprised. But I'm going to step out onto a limb and say that they won't even get to Memphis, or should I say Greenbrook, Miss. Remember........... the state runs through Soddy Daisy. I know it was last year, but do you remember what happened to Coffee Co. at the lake last year? It'll be worse this year. Wear your red!
  12. I witnessed the ugly spectacle at Warner Park, and from what I saw the suspension was well deserved. Maybe that type of behavior is accepted in Coffee Co. but it isn't in Hamilton Co. You talk, talk, talk about how good Coffee Co. is but they never seem to measure up. Spring hope is eternal.
  13. All I know about Coffee Co. is that they rarely get to the big dance and when they do they act awful and get suspended the next year from post season play. Wear your red!
  14. Nicki Waters and Stacy Fairbanks are the returning pitchers from Soddy Daisy.
  15. Marion Co. will definitely put some people to sleep, especially East Ridge.
  16. I'm sure that you're joking, but last year you were serious.
  17. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then.
  18. It'll take more than Emily playing football to defeat Soddy. Wear your red! Why didn't Coffee Co. wear there red uniforms to the sectional game at Soddy last year?
  19. It's the same old song and dance.....Coffee co. this and Coffee Co. that. We here the same thing every year, "got all the players back"........"much better than last year"...... "wear your red".... ya da ya da ya da. If you have all the same players then you're in trouble again because the state runs through Soddy Daisy. Wear your red!!!
  20. Riverdale choked last year against a weak Coffee Co. team. What makes you think they are so good this year? Wear your red!
  21. I won't argue that with you. Coffee Co. would be better off losing in the district tourney then traveling to Soddy again.
  22. If BR is so good then why is she on the bench in an elimination game? She was hurt part of the year and came back to beat the likes of Brainerd. Holly Thomas will pitch circles around BR. I think Thomas played summer ball for the Austin Eagles.
  23. Number two team in the region has to travel to Soddy Daisy to play sectional game. NOT GOOD! Remeber last year? 4-0, perfect game, no ball out of the infield. And that was against a bunch of 9th graders. Their 10th garders now and will be even better.
  24. Rice won't be carrying any load for anybody. She was on the bench the last two years that Hooterville was eliminated from the district tournament.
