hey private1, Why are you getting mad? Centennial lost to Brentwood 3 times this year, and its good for them to have the Bruins off of their back. As for roughness, soccer is a physical game, and unless Smyrna scored on a PK or free kick, the fouls are unimportant.

Look at the goals scored, not only in last nights game, but throughout the season. No goals have come outside the 18. All of them come from midefield's laziness and defense's lack of clearing the ball. When the midfield pressured the ball, there were results, but later on in the game Ryan Mattison moved back to play more defense, and Centennial had only one attacker, Hayden Lamb most of the time, to go for breakaways. Breakaways will not win the game; on the contrary, passing the ball around and pressuring the other team wins games. Mark my words: If Centennial does not have their midfielders pressuring the ball at midfield, Bearden will score at least 3 goals. This will come from constant attacking from Bearden's midfielders and forwards. I went to all three Brentwood games, and almost every goal came from Brentwood pounding the ball down Centennial's throat. The only way Centennial can win is if Centennial plays offensively, and consistently pressure the ball throughout the game. Otherwise, they have no chance against Bearden on Wednesday. Oh, just so you know, Mattison always falls down by the box. It's called a dive.

And that one piece of the puzzle just sent you back home.

yes, Brentwood and Hendersonville are done for the year. As for Centennial's defense, I've seen them do this time and time again. In the beginning of the first half, Centennial's midfield played great, moving the ball around, and really pressuring the ball on defense. After it was 3-0, the midfield moved back, and this is where the problem occurs. When Centennial's midfield does not pressure at the half-line, good teams capitalize by pushing up as many players as possible. Centennial counters this by pulling back all but one player. When this happens, it is easier for other teams to score. Both goals happened because of this, and almost every goal against Brentwood was because of this. If Centennial wants to beat Bearden, they HAVE to have midfield pressure the ball right away. If they sit back, Bearden will have a field day and will score at least 3 goals. The problem with Hendersonville tonight was that they fell asleep at the beginning of the game and Centennial took it to them. It was a well played game by both teams, and I wish Centennial the best of luck at state.

Well, niether Brentwood or Hendersonville can go any further, as the Commandos lost to Centennial 2-3 and Brentwood lost to Smyrna 0-1.

Centennial scored 3 first half goals as they defeated Hendersonville 3-2. Patrick Rummell had two goals, while Ryan Mattison had the other. Hendersonville almost came back from a 3-0 deficit, but just came up short.

Wow, I don't Smyrna will run around Brentwood like that at all. I'm sayin Brentwood 2 Smyrna 1.

In AAA, my final four is Farragut vs Brentwood and Bearden vs Hendersonville(I think I'm reading the state brackets right) Farragut will beat Brentwood, and H-ville will beat Bearden. My final score: Hendersonville 3 Farragut 2

TNFC 88 Would kill Brentwood Fusion. There mgiht be an occasion where u get lucky, but TNFC 88 is one of the best in the state for their age. There's no comparison.

Centennial won 1-0. Jason Sparks had the only goal, and from what I heard, it was a sloppy game.

I'm sure that Shelbyville is a very good team, but I don't believe they will go all the way this year. There are just too many good teams in there way.

Bob Jones is out of Alabama, not Georgia. I think the Centennial Antioch game will be a very good game. My prediction is Centennial 3 Antioch 1.

Yes, Hendersonville stands at 14-0-3. I see them going far in state, and I have them going to the state finals this year.

Franklin is out, and Centennial is in. Ok, besides that, it looks like Clarksville will play Smyrna, and Hendersonville will play Rossview. Clarksville beat Smyrna earlier in the year 4-2. Should be a good game. I'm thinkin Clarksville vs. Hendersonville in the region 5 finals, and I see the Commandos goin away with this one, lets say, 3-1.

If you look at Clarksville's schedule, it looks pretty weak. I know that they are a good team, but I don't think they have what it takes to make a big run at state. Then again, I could be wrong, which i am often. Just my two cents.
