do you always blame the refs when something bad happens? I mean cmon, there are very few games where a ref actually blows the game, im sure you had other chances to score and just didn't. Take the loss and learn from it.

I disagree that the competition is better in high school. Part of the reason that TN club soccer is seemingly not as competitive is because their is no "league" so that you can other teams of your skill, there are only tourneys and state cup. In high school there are less educated coaches, and much of the play is "kick it up to the striker and let him take it" whereas club features smarter players who can ping the ball around.

keep in mind that the cougars played BA and won 2-0, and were not playing nearly as good as they should, with the talent on their team. Should be a great game.

FRAsaves, I looked at your schedule, and maybe the problem is that you play teams that aren't ranked, and that you've only played 1 AAA team, which is not very good. Don't worry, I think that eastside is jealous because they can't compete in their own county, so they pick on other ones.

Also remember that coaches cannot contact you until your junior year, so don't send things too early. Div III coaches will come to high school games oocasionally, but big time Div I coaches look at club soccer mostly. Super Club tournaments, State and Regional tourneys, and several other tourneys around the country are loaded with scouts.

How about Centennial's Patrick Lazear! He has 7 shutouts in 9 games, including the 2-0 win over BA. AND he is only a sophomore

Centennial 2 BA 0 Patrick Lazear got his 7th shutout as the Cougars defeated the Brentwood Academy Eagles. #19 on Centennial was amazing, and thought the Eagles were good, they could not score.

guys, ummm.......i hate to tell you, but those teams are from movies.......and movies are scripted. unlike this game, which i favor Farragut 3-2.

1.Brentwood(7-0-0)-One of the best teams in the state, the Bruins are easily the best team in the county. 2.BGA(6-1-2)-A very good team, loaded with talent, especially with their juniors. 3.Franklin(3-2-3)Another good team, but have been playing so-so to date. 4.BA-(3-2-2)-Trew is the best goalie in this county, and the team is not bad either, but they seem to be inconsistent. 4.Centennial(6-1-1) The Cougars have put together a good side, and since they play BA on friday, we'll see who the real #4 is. 6.Page(3-4-2)- Page has a tough schedule for an A/AA team, and their 4 losses have come from AAA and Div.II teams. 7.Fairview(5-1) I don't know much about them, but the schedule is weak, and a 3-1 loss to Page puts them in the spot they are. 8.Ravenwood(4-3?)- A team full of sophmores and freshman, the Raptors are better than I expected. In this district, however, being "better than expected" just isn't the level of play that they need. These are my rankings, if anyone has any suggestions with them I'd love to hear it.
