Are you kidding me? IT IS A SCRIMMAGE, what do you get out of winning a scrimmage, you are tring to teach your players and get your bench some playing time. So i don't know what you are talking about and so impressed with Clinton winning the game. Come on.....Clinton will have a great team this year, but don't get on here and start all this trash talking until you do something this year.... So AE was only missing one player but you are talking about how the guy from texas is the best player in the world. Look at what happened last year when he left what happened to your team it went South. So yes sometimes one player does make a difference, and i am telling you that Albert Harris makes a big difference on the court.

Coach C, from Clinton was one of the worst decisions the Dragons made. When they hired him they overlooked many coaches in this area that were right for the job... I am not saying that you should automatically hire someone that is already on the staff....but i don't think that you should go out and hire someone that is from your rivaly... i know he came from Carter, but before he coached at Anderson County....we need to go out and hire someone out of the area that will come in and get the kids exicted about playing football.....Since coach Gaylor left the Dragons everything went south....We need to get back to the dominating the area in football like the early 90's....Also i know Spencer Riley is looking for a head coaching job...I think he is coaching at Karns right now and maybe he can come in and bring the strength back to Clinton.... GO DRAGONS

What about the 16/u age group? How did the Tennessee teams fare in the hoosier shootout....and also did anyone stand out during the tournment.....

Gomab I was just wondering why you get on here and argue with kids that are in high school. I mean i thought you were the GREAT ONE and supposed to be heading to the big time coaching league. COLLEGE. But i mean you are 25-30 year old adult sitting on a computer fighting with a HIGH SCHOOL KID. what does this accomplish, besides making you look like a idoit. Come on and grow up. Just heard the news that the Memphis Bulldogs won the 16/u championship. They beat the Tennessee Thunder in a close game in which the bulldogs won by 7. In the other game the Memphis Rebels beat the Charles Davis Foundation. I was also informed that the GREAT COACH GOMAB placed fifth in the tourn. with the greatest players in the country.

Are you kidding me GOMAB!!! If you are listing the best point guards in the state.....and you did say POINT GUARDS then you need to move the kid from Oak Ridge and Bradley Central up on the list...they are true point guards they handle the ball well and set up the offense and dish the ball first then look for their shot. I think you just look at how many points the guy scores and then make him out to be a superstar. I am about tried of hearing all of your rankings anyway, because all you do is talk great about the kids you coach and criticize other kids that do not play for you. But i know you are a superstar COACH and you know what you are talking about and one day you will be coaching college basketball. But if you are coaching for the right reason (for the kids) you will quit all your BS and help every kid in the state of Tennessee improve their game.

Can somebody post the scores from all the games that were played in the state tournament. I know some of the scores but would like to know how other games went and how close each game was. THANKS

what are you talking about sky? Don't make excuses about how you bet that you would beat those teams if you played them again. And just because you coach doesn't go out and recruit his players, that does not mean that he is a great coach. Don't come on here and talk trash if you can't back it up. Sorry if this makes you made, but it is probably the truth

I don't know if she has signed anywhere or not but Brittney Frazier from Oak Ridge is a great post player. She can knock down the 15 foot jump shots. You might want to give Oak Ridge a call and find out.

Does anybody know what happened to the kid that played basketball at Trousdale County. I think his last name was McCall, he was a decent basketball player.

Scotty is back in Clinton. He was one of the best running backs that every came out of Eastern Tennessee. If he had his grades when he graduated high school, he would have been a star at U.T. They wanted him but they send him off to Idaho to a community college but he just didn't like it out there and quit.

I saw the Tennessee Thunder play this weekend, they are a very talented team. Their guard play will keep them in almost any game. If they had one more big man than they would be the team to beat in the state tournment. They are lead by Albert Harris, Landon Thomas from Oak Ridge, and Travis Sikes. These are just a couple of the leaders. They also have Trey Tindell, Asberry, Jonathan Jones, Elliot Bishop and two more kids that are their big men. I just don't know their names. They are a team that you should watch out for in the tournament. Good luck to all teams that are participating in the state tournaments

Yeah, basically your team is not as good as you think. Didn't you get blown out of each game you played in the sub-state by at least 20 points.

That is all i was saying.....Great player, but not as good as he thinks with his attitude. He needs to work on his shot just a little. But he can get to the rim about any time we wants with his power. Good post Gomab.

I am not being hard on him....i am just stating the facts. I think he is a great player, but he is not at the level that he think he is. Don't get me wrong i am not here to talk bad about him, i am just hoping he gets the message and works hard on the court and lets his game to the talking. I saw him play this weekend were he showed flashes of greatness but also showed stupidity. I know he is only 16 but sooner or later you need to grow up. Colleges look at that if you know what i mean. Someone told me that the Tennessee Breakers beat the Tennesee Thunder in the championship game....He said that the Breakers won by around 8-10 points.....and the Charles Davis Foundation lost to the Yellowjackets in the other game....it was a forfeit from what i heard. So that means 1. Tennessee Breakers 2. Tennessee Thunder 3. Yellowjackets 4. Charles Davis

How did the Pacesetters do this weekend? I know they had their Sub state this weekend

But he has an attitude problem. If he doesn't change his attitude he will not be going to any big time college... i don't care how good he is....and that is a FACT! I would rather have another player that does just a little less than someone on the court with a problem. Even if it is the Delk twins or Tyler Smith or whoever.....

The Yellowjackets beat the Grizzles on Friday night....also the Tennessee Breakers beat the Alcoa ballers, i think they won by 15 or somewhere around that score....and finally the CDF beat a team from Bristol..... Saturday The Yellowjackets beat the Tennessee Thunder 77-70 in a well played game....In the second game the Breakers beat the Nashville Pacesetters by 25 points.....

Who is CDF? What teams finally made it to state? Have they set up the brackets yet for the tournment. I would also have to agree that the ballers look pretty good. I have also saw the Thunder play and they play well as a team, just need some size. And i am sure there are two or three teams from Memphis that are great also. Who are the favorites at this tournment? I heard that the yellowjackets have a great team....But that is the only team that i really have heard of in the 17/u. But good luck to all teams that will be there this weekend...

Does anybody know how the state tournment will be set up? Which teams will be in each pool play. Also what are some players that you should watch out for that will be making the trip to state?

The Tennessee Thunder Select won the East substate with the Knoxville Lakers coming in second. What are some of the other champions and runner-ups in the different sub-states?
