Maybe everyone is right--maybe Farragut will win Friday night But it will still be close-- if there is an upset, don't be surprised and when Farragut comes to S-D, the Cherokees are 6-1 at home this season and a note to the gov man...your team is that bad, S-D just decided to play their absolute worst game of the year that night

Friday night: South Doyle (13-5) @ Farragut (10-2) Last year's game was decided by 2 points, 50-48... This year both teams are improved and South Doyle is riding a 7 game winning streak. Meanwhile, Farragut has lost back to back games. I know it's at Farragut, but this is a prime game for an upset. The winner can arguably say they are the best in the KIL After all, Farragut was #1 in the last PrepExtra Poll I believe...

Was this statement an oxymoron?? If S-D beat Bearden, then does that mean Bearden is worse than some middle school teams?? I am confused...And since S-D also beat Clinton back in November, by 13, I guess Clinton is worse than some middle school teams as well, eh? And your boys from Catholic Lets look at S-D and Catholic's common opponents Monterrey- Catholic by 38, S-D by 20 (playing several JV guys late) Seymour - catholic by 4, S-D by 2 Powell -- Catholic by 22, S-D by 20 It's a bit of a stretch to say catholic, bearden, and clinton are so much better than S-D essentially, you have just implied that Catholic, Clinton and Bearden are worse than some middle school teams and every team has some bad losses--it was early... The only real team Catholic has played this far is against Brentwood Academy and the score makes it seem that wasn't even a game why dont you do a little better research before you run your mouth and make yourself look like an idiot, and diss your own team in the process

I think if South Doyle beats Farragut Friday night they have to leap into these rankings--even if it's a close game and they lost, at 12-6 and with a win over Bearden, they deserve some recognition... The note on Catholic is they beat Seymour, as did S-D so i guess the big test comes friday...

South Doyle won their 6th in a row tonite--I'm telling you...watch out Friday night Farragut may win since it is in their gym, but if everyone on S-D shows up to play and the d is there....it will be a HECK of a game not that's it is overly impressive, but S-D did dominate Lenoir City It was never really a game, but then again the opponent was weak

South-Doyle is finally living up to the preseason hype, having won 5 in a row...Logan Johnson is really playing well too. Do the Cherokees have a shot against Farragut Friday, especially since Maryville just beat Farragut??? If S-D can play th way they did in beating Bearden in every facet of the game, I think they have a real shot at Farragut...Farragut and Maryville are the only games left where South Doyle should not be the favorite I think their defense and coaching schemes have made the difference in their big victories as of late

S-D beat Bearden tonite on a Tate Burroughs 15 foot jumper as time expired. The game story is listed under "Game Stories" on http://www.sdhoops.com. Down the stretch it was obvious the Cherokees were the more poised team and that Coach Smith was outcoaching Coach Blevins. Bearden made some bizarre substitutions late, while S-D's big 3 were steady with logan Johnson pouring in 21 and Burroughs hitting 2 huge shots late. Adam King also made some nice moves and played solid defense. it looks like after back to back wins South-Doyle is back in its early season form when they beat up on the likes of Clinton, Morristown East and others.... watch out for the Cherokees!!!
