Does Anyone know much about Jefferson Co??? They host South Doyle in the semifinals of their tournament Friday night at 8 PM... I know S-D knocked off Cosby last night -- this should be a big game come friday night in front of the home town crowd -- what do people think?? S-D is 3-1 now so it should be a close contest...

hey campbell co person -- CC beat the "shiat" out of S-D.... Maybe I am wrong but I told S-D was WINNING the game was 58 seconds left...and a breakaway layup made the final margin of 6...I guess wins are hard to come by though in CC eh?

I heard these two teams squared off-- does anyone have a score from this contest?? From what the boards say Clinton is one of the better teams in the area...they probably pounded S-D.....someone score please???

Hey Fanatic 15...do you ever watch college football?? just curious-- here's why I ask...I propose that Tennessee is the best team between UT, Florida and Florida St Tennessee beat Miami but wait, Miami beat florida state, currently ranked ahead of Tennessee in ESPN poll -- and miami beat florida but WAIT.....florida lost to miami, and tennessee WOW but how can this be -- because since miami beat florida, they should have beaten tennesse, but somehow tennessee beat miami and florida this just proves your ooltewah argument is dumb... not to MENTION the fact that S-D started playing the game at Ooltewah 10 minutes after piling out of their cars -- with a 2 minute warmup...I'm sure that was an indication of the upcoming season all i know is I saw S-D pummel Greenback by 50 while only playing the varsity half the game then I saw them beat Harriman by 25-30 playing the varsity again only half the game then i heard they ripped apart morristown west so thats why i think what i think plus the fact they have who i think will be the most dominating player in the city who's only a junior

South Doyle and junior Logan Johnson are by far the best team and player in KIL this season

staynskool definitely needs to heed his username here as you can't even spell half your words right and it's obvious ooltewah doesnt take much pride in educating its students but it's sure fun to watch little high school kids think theyre really cool on a message board im going back to goat herding in dayton see you smart kids later

Oh I think Ooltewah was the best team there, but only b/c SD and MC played badly. It would be an interesting matchup in the regular season -- so another question, the star for ooltewah--the headband or cornrows??? and i am not a player for S-D -- dirk as you fondly called #42 I am a goat herder from Dayton haha

that chattsportswriter said ooltewah killed S-D.....interesting, possible biased? I think so. The game was practically tied with 4 minutes left....and then South Doyle had a 4 minute brain fart, but with 4 minutes left and Ooltehaw up by 2, i dont call that a drubbing. And also, the ref at thayt scrimmage was A COMPLETE JOKE.... I don't understand how he can don that jersey -- he was laughable players for all three schools were getting hammered....HAMMERED and no calls....it was always the extra coach or parent making the call i really hope and pray, for the sake of all TN high schools teams, that the pathetic, wretched excuse for a ref does not actually ref a real, varsity game this year He is more fitted for a chattanooga 4th and 5th grade special ed league anyway, but about the games... mcminn central looked good, had some talented players, but lost to S-D because the scorekeepers graciously did not put up 2 three's early on by south doyle I was left wondering who the star player was for ooltewah...I am assuming he was one of the black kids, but the one with the headband or cornrows? The headband guy played phenomenal -- but i didn't see a jump shot And that coach for S-D looked like a fairly goofy guy.....but not as goofy as that ooltewah guy out there screaming -- SIDELINE BREAK...SIDELINE BREAK ALL IN ALL great times had by all

What does everyone think? best juniors in Knoxville--and how many of them have a shot at D-1?

Yeah, South-Doyle squashed Greenback, missing 4 guys who will get big minutes on varsity--while only using their main squad in the 1st and 3rd quarters.... Transition game looked decent they could be good this year...guess we'll find out how good when they get a full squad

yeah Bonfire....what is this "no coaching" bit....31 wins in last 2 seasons after 7 previous 2 seasons...how do you explain that??? I guess it's no coaching...r-i-g-h-t They looked pretty well coached at Karns yesterday in absolutely shredding 2 opponents by a combined 60 points but im sure it was not due to skilled coaching....yeah

I think South-Doyle will be very respectable this season. Johnson is a great finisher and should do well all season. The coaching is sound and the senior leadership is in place. And the way you guys are singing the praises of Coach Smith, it would seem UT is knocking down his door to replace Buzz if UT doesn't make the Tournament this year. I guess we can see how good S-D is today at the Karns playday, although I know little about their opponents -- Greenback and CAK

I am a junior at UT with 2 years of coaching experience with junior high kids and am looking to be some sort of an assistant for a high school in Knoxville. I played 4 years of varsity in high school and would be available almost all the time for coaching next season. Does anyone have any ideas, tips, etc about what to as far as contacting high schools?
