Every year all I here about is Farragut Bearden, Farragut Bearden. I hope Brentwood with all of those returning seniors wins it next year and I think they will

I know the teams in Middle Tennessee are good, but are the couple in Knoxville that much better? It seems like (almost every year) the AAA Knoxville teams make it to the final. I know Brentwood won recently, but it seems like the Knoxville teams have dominated the 2000s

Last time I checked Brentwood has a good goalie too in Jordan Leedle.

The Brentwood-Clarkesville game was far more a blowout than the score indicated. Brentwood had a million shots but just couldnt finish on a ton of them. Clarkesville didnt threaten at all on offense except maybe once in the first half when a Clarksville striker kicked the ball over the goal on an empty net. They beat them 8-0 earlier in the season and probably just wanted to get a W and get out with no injuries. I was there and watched, it wasnt pretty. Cookeville is toast PS - I am unable to make it to games until Saturday due to work schedule Can people please post score updates asap today and tomorrow as they come in , thanks

I am for Brentwood, but I would love to see Clarksville lay it all on the line. They have nothing to lose, no pressure, and most people think it will be a blowout. They should get fired up and go out on a high note and battle hard even if its a loss. I have never seen a sectional game be 7-0 or 8-0 and dont ever want to. I thought all teams were supposed to be good at this stage of the tournament

Brentwood-Overton match 3 - will this be closer to the 1-1 tie or 4-1 blowout? I think somewhere in between like 3-1 Brentwood Hendersonville will beat Clarksville comfortably and then beat Overton 1-0 down to the wire It's hard to look forward to Brentwood playing a team in sectionals they beat 8-0 earlier in the year, should be another blowout Good luck Bruins

Congrats to Overton who is hot now and Brentwood for turning it on at the end. Indy is on the way up and Franklin has Boothie and company returning for another go next year so they should be good You just got the feeling when Brentwood tied it with less than 5 minutes that the momentum shifted and they were going to win the game. Franklin got some unlucky bounces on a called back goal and another one where i swear it looked it like it went in on a header in the first half but it didnt. Overton goalie made some great saves at the end. Although Overton acted similar to World Cup teams with a lot of diving and fake injuries to magically get up a minute later just to get a call. They wanted the game more and got it Should be a close one tonight especially after Overton and Brentwood tied earlier in the year Good luck to both and congrats to franklin and indy on good seasons

I am for Franklin all the way, Overton looked really good against Ravenwood and Will did play in the second half.

I think Ravenwood-Overton will be the best 1st round matchup followed by Indy-Centennial

I would love to see that, but after Brentwood stumbled against Centennial and tied Overton, they have beaten handily Indy, Hendersonville, and Ravenwood.

At this point, I would say no, but teams can get hot at any time and win on any given night if everything goes their way and play their best

i think brentwood is back in top form and will make it through district easily ravenwood is the next best

The only reason other areas dont realize how hard the district is because Brentwood and one other team usually make it out of district every year, but this year could be different with Ravenwood solidifying itself as a powerhouse every year and Independence is becoming one very quickly. Franklin, Centennial, and Overton have all had their moments this year too
