"Newbie" the best thing for you to do is to learn about the sport is to listen, watch and keep that mouth shut and see which a Daddy is doin everythin for the team but it is really all about his little princess.....stay on here and watch and listen and you will learn a lot, but the best thang that I can tell you to do is get out to the park cause every team has got them some, some are loud and some are cleaver and let other folks do it for them but every team has got them....do you really think that the parents really care about ALL of the girls????? Surely "Newbie" you ain't that slow, that is why we call it "DADDY BALL" its about my princess!! See what happens when their little princess leaves school and goes on...bet you don't see them no more cause it is all about their princess. I just wish more coaches could open their eyes and see it as well.....these daddy's love to help all of the time but wait until baby is gone..........NO MOE DADDY!!!!

My ol Buddy MRNOITALL I am going to have to disagree with you. My Princess has been gone for 4 years and I am still up there helping the coach get the field ready and doing what I can. So some of us stay around, very very few. But I turly love the game like you. smile Yall, life is to short.

My first home game of the year. Field looks nice! everything looks great! except the team!!!! This is the worst coached team I have seen. They looked like the bad news bears, what has happen to FCS Softball Program? All I can say is they stink, and while I am at it so dose the coaching, there you go I said it,most of the problem is coaching or lack there of. I know there is lots of hurt girls, But come on!!!!!!! This team will be lucky to get out of district. Ok let me hear it.

TOE I thought you were gone??? it's been 5 to 6 years since your daughter played up there. why so much hate? The coach does a good job with what they got. OK here my prediction, two years they will be knocking on the door for STATE!!! JUST HIDE AND WATCH. SMILE more it good for you.

Hey Fishunt! You are my hero!! Games are all day Saturday, March 10, 2012. Please take note (everyone) that should there be BAD weather and the playday is cancelled, we will NOT MOVE GAMES TO Sunday, as we (Beech High School) will be leaving Sunday morning for Gulf Shores to play in the Nike Gulf Coast Classic.

Well well, sorry I don't hang out here 8 hr a day, It might be old news to you, but it was new news to me. I was congratulating and wishing her luck. I think you need to take some of them happy pills. your old bones must be hurting in all of this heat.

Congratulation to Coach Erika Powell.I just heard by the grape vine, that Beech has a new head Coach. Good luck Coach Powell you sure have some big shoes to fill. But I know for a fact you will have no problem filling them.

Now that both teams handled their first round of the region pretty easily they will meet for the 5th time this year in the region championship. Both teams are 2-2 so far with Gordonsville winning twice during the season and FCS winning twice in the tournament. I said in another post that this is the game that matters and winner of this game means more than any of the other games. It's hard to beat a good team 3 times in a row so i'll go with Gordonsville by 2...

I think FCS will be alright.It looks to me the last two games they have figured gvilles pitcher out. If that is so I say FCS by 4.

 

 

FCS is not very good,

I have watched FCS play a few times this year,I think they are better than last year. (now that's not saying much) But remember they have already beat Cornerville. So they are not that bad.

Cornerville did not look so great to me. and no FCS is not that good!!! I thought I was going see some great pitching, NOT, There pitching did not impress me at all. The team as a whole was very sloppy .

My baby played in Seattle, WA and Siouxfalls,SD @ the 16 ASA nationals, all I can say is wow,Evey collage coach in the country is there. Hang around a watch, You will see THE BEST softball players in the USA. It is a time in my life I will never forget. I am curious why none of the Division II teams or players get recognition on this board. I have read post over the last couple years that no one cares about Div. II. There has been a ton of NCAA Division I talent over the past few years and these girls seem to be overlooked. Wondering Why?

Can a dad or friend use the schools in door batting cage to help a girl with her pitching this time of year. There will be no coach involved.

By the rules of the game, a "slap bunt" would be an oxymoron. Let me guess, you also think that the player positioned just behind home plate and in front of the umpire is the "hind-catcher" too, don't you? I digress. Just for the record, slapping originated in baseball and was adapted into fastpitch, and there are still slappers in baseball today. Ichiro slaps. Furcal slaps.

Tuesday, softball, Wife ,son daughter, and I $32.00

Wednesdays boys baseball game son and i $16.00 + parking $5.00 =$21.00

Wednesday night softball, wife son and daughter and I $32.00

Thursday morning softball son and I $ 16.00

========$101 to see 4 games . TOO DAM MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And this dose not include the cokes and the hamburger!!!! Its become a rich mans game. ha ha.

So how much will a tournament pass cost me??

To DAM much. I am glad it's in my back yard, I saw a woman at the gate last year raiseing heck, that her family having to pay $130 ,and she has left her two kids at the hotel so she could come watch her baby play, and did not have any money to get in. I paid her way!!!! It's to DAM much.

Since it has been stated on other threads that it seems that only private schools are the ones partcipating, it should not be a problem for those parents to pay /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

wrong i have no money because i send my kids to private. i am broke. I am sure glad i don't have 3 kids and a wife to take to the sping money fling. that would be 40 dallors a sesson, or 80 for 2 sesson. That is sad that they are charging that much.

Dose any one know how much it's going to be per sesson this year. Do i need to take out a loan?
