I have to say it was a very sad day for me. I knew it was coming, but I can't say enough about what he has meant to me. We have fought many battles together and we have had a few of our own. He knows me like a book and I know him like a book. It will not be the same without him around. We have had many great conversations about life as well as softball. I could write a book about the things we have done and said. He will be missed by our school and he will be missed dearly by me. He is like a brother to me. I am glad he is going to get to spend more time with his family and friends. Coach Griffin

I have had another team drop out. Fairview dropped last week and now Martin Luther King has dropped out. I wish these people knew how hard it is to set the brackets and do the pools and drop out at that point. I have one spot I would let someone play in for free so I will not have to redo the pools. The schedule they would need to play would be as follows. Looks to me like someone from Station Camp is trying to stir the pot. I don't think the coaching staff from either Hendersonville or Mt. Juliet is looking past this week. Camper should post about Station Camp and try not to stir up trouble between other schools.

The ninth annual Tom Corbitt Tournament will be April 16 & 17, 2010. The tournament will be held at the Humphreys County Dixie League's Allen Sports Complex. We will accept the first 24 teams. All teams are guaranteed 4 games. The cost will be $140.00. Entry forms need to be received by October 15, 2009. Hendersonville High School will host the Commando Classic once again the first week-end of the regular season. I don't have the date in front of me right now, but it is somewhere around the 14-15-16 of March. I will send out information early September.
