Cooper beat Kenny 3-2 to 5th and 6th last year. He has gotten better. Meridith is very strong and he gets better every match. This his only his third year wrestling ever. He could win state this year.

McMinn Central 66-18, Lookout Valley and Marion County combined 68-12, Jefferson County 53-21, Alcoa72-9, Kingston 54-29 and Grace Academy 69-15, lost to Catholic, Not a real tough schedule I agree, so, we will just have to see what we do against the tougher region II teams in January

Did Johnson wrestle at Bradley?

In defense of our manager, isn't it a team sport? Most of the teams that greenback has wrestled this year have full teams. Also, they have beaten most of those teams by more than one match. The headlock is a real wrestling move. Pile drivers and body slams are not. This is not a move featured by the greenback starting 14 though. I and the rest of my team are just a little proud of our school for what we have done so far. We have worked hard and are continuing to do so. I think UC is has a great program. I wish them the best. I think that what is important to remember is that the kids who get on here like myself and you should just try to be positive and not bash other teams or wrestlers. This is a great place to share ideas and i hope we can keep it that way.

What does farragut's lineup look like? They have several region contenders.

I didnt say anything about greenback. I just want to know who the best small schools are. The other post has to do with small teams (meaning teams without a full roster) not teams from small schools. That remark was uncalled for. Greenback has proven themselves but needs to continue to do so. I apolagize if I have offended you in some way. By the way what school are you from?

If the TSSAA made two classes for dual meets state championships who do you think would have the best team?

What was the score of Farragut/Union Co., did Farragut have very many forfeits or are you just talking about the matches that actually took place?

Rockwood by 9. They are a solid team who has a bunch of players who can do many things. I think that Rockwood's Point gaurd is one of the best I've seen and thier best player. And then if Davis can use his size they should take this one. Can't wait for baseball season!

Maryville did not have a heavyweight, but Greenback's heavy is undefeated anyway. Maryville's 103 did not make weight but the Greenback kid is much better anyway. William blount's only forfeit was at 103. Greenback wrestled tough.
