It depends on how the winning team gets to 36-0. If you are up 36-0 in the 4th quarter, and you are still sending in the first teamers, I don't like it. If you score two late TDs on interceptions, fumbles and the like, it's a different story.

Never said that what Blackman did to SM was ok. Never said it was ok for CCS to have their best player in the game when they were up 50 on Marion. If those are true, then those were classless acts as well. Don't justify SM actions by pointing the finger elsewhere. If you think it's ok to run up the score, just go ahead and say it. It's ok to disagree.

Good point. I'm sure CCS can take some sense of satisfaction in giving up 70+ points while its clearly superior opponent kept the starters in.

You obvioulsy know them better than most of us, but there were a number of parents who weren't particularly thrilled with the beatdown on CCS. Justify as you see fit, but is was still classless.

So its ok to run up the score since it is their last game? I don't agree but at least there may be some room for discussion on that issue. How do you justify running the score up on CCS a couple of weeks ago?

Not "everybody" and besides, does that make it ok?

Baylor's Achilles heal has been it's pass defense--BGA might be able to have some success throwing the ball. I think Baylor tries a little keep away with its running game and O line strength. Ought to be a good one

I have to believe the lenght of the discussion runs in favor of SM. If it were a rubber stamp, I believe the decision would have been much quicker.

I'm not spewing hate at all. I think I said I don't think the community as a whole is consistent with the comments of some posters. Do you not see that many might read your statement that "you folks can go back to wollowing in your own misery instead of trying to create some for those more successful than you" can be read (and in fact, imo must be read) as an arrogant view of others? You are clearly stating that others aren't as successful as you and live miserable lives--I suppose because they don't drink the Price Koolaid. Again, as I said before, I don't think that's true of the community as a whole but it's hard not to read comments such as these as anything other than pretentious.

Anyone who can't understand why folks think SM fans are arrogant needs to read this--so typical of those SM people who post on here. I never have thought it true of the community as a whole (and still don't) but you posters are giving SM a bad name.
