They were close last year because they played one really good game in region and beat a team I really thought they shouldve lost to, but thats fine- they played well. Where they really got lucky was when FRA, among others, lost to teams in the first round that they shouldve beat. True, NCS split the season series with FRA 1-1, but most people watching those games would agree NCS was outmatched. NCS may turn out good this year, its possible, but unless theyve improved a lot from last year, theyre no threat to the state title. I dont think theyll even make it to substate.

Not all student bodies grow, look at where your son goes, Aspen- its smaller than it was 10 years ago. Also, the next classification will probably be the separation of public and private schools in 2006, so being AAA will be the least of their worries.

I mourn your loss. A game like that is timeless, and now you'll never know hoe good it couldve been. My best was a 235 I bowled in a match, so I got credit for it.

um.. wouldnt divisions make it easier for the smaller schools? I dont know about you, but at FRA, its hard to find 6 good bowlers out of 300 students. Id think itd be a lot easier to get 6 bowlers out of 1000+ students.

obviously i was wrong about regions 7&8. Im glad you could take the time I didnt and look it up on TSSAA's site. However, you failed to either give predictions for the race or say how the before-mentioned regions fared. Why isnt anyone posting in here?

If Elizabethton runs like they did at region, they should be in the top 3 somewhere.

Also, Im pretty sure theres no Region 7 or 8 in A-AA

Nashville Christian was one win away from going to state last year and they have their top 3 leading scorers returning so they will definitly be a team to look out for.

I don't know about everyone else, but these Bradley, McMinn arguments are getting irritating and dominating the board. Every post somehow agitates the situation and evolves into a skirmish. I'm not demanding the teams end their rivalry, of course not, but instead asking to maybe adopt a detente relationship, as in the cold war. The teams can still rival, even hate each other, but on this board act together or at least cease arguments....

whos counting out CCS? It looked to me like he said theyre a threat. and hes right. they have a solid team this year and should be the favorites based on the TN classic

we do the nashville striders races at vaughns gap. its good to get 2 races in on our district course before the season even begins and it helps us determine varsity.
