I have watched both Soddy and Ooltewah play and it should be a great game. But, in all honesty I think Ooltewah has too much speed for Soddy. The owls are not as big as Soddy even though they have good size but team speed is fast, very fast. I believe Ooltewah might have a better chance of going undefeated than Soddy!

Let's be honest guys, here it is and why! 1. LFO 2. McCallie 3. Ooltewah 4. Soddy Daisy 5. Boyd Buc. Why - McCallie just lost to LFO But they beat Brentwood Acd. who has a program full of Div. 1 prospects. Wheather we like them or not McCallie is awfully good and I would like to see LFO and McCallie play again. Ooltewah is having a great year as well as Soddy and both are very good I believe Ooltewah has too much speed for Soddy but time will tell and thats whyI put Ooltewah over them. As for Boyd here again they lost to Baylor but not by much. Baylor is the weakest team in the super seven and their are several teams in Chatt. that could beat them, so that was not a huge victory. If Boyd was to play Ooltewah, Soddy or Oak Ridge they would get beat and probably bad.

Friday night Ooltewahs defensive secondary was picked on a lot and not by two great quarterbacks either. Centrals quarterbacks were just throwing the ball up in the air and Ooltewahs defensive backs were just too short to defend the pass. When you have a couple of backs that are only 5'-5" you don't have a chance with a 6'-2" receiver. We have got to come up with an answer because everyone will know about our small defensive backs and they will as I would take advantage of it. As far as speed they are fine but, that cannot help you when you are going up against tall receivers. What does everyone else think about this I'm I right or wrong?

So let me get this right, we are going to wait until finally someone stops our running game and then show the world that we can pass with the best of them. Thats the kind of thinking that opposing coaches love to hear, and by that time it will be too late. We have got to start getting ready now you've got to be able to do both and you can't wait until we play Riverdale or Oak Ridge. This kind of thinking just wait until someone stops us will get us going home for the last time, you have to keep teams off balance and keep them guessing.

Ok, I've seen Ooltewah in the past three games and they have developed a great running game with Caldwell and Williams. But, sooner or later and it might not be until the 8th or 9th game or even in the playoffs with the Riverdales of the state but someone is going to stop the run. Ooltewah has got to start passing more and be ready when they stop their running game, I feel that they have got to start throwing at least 12 to 14 times a game to be ready. They've got good receivers in Lowe, McMillan, Langston and we've got to start throwing to be Oak Ridge, Soddy and like I said before the Riverdales of the state. Give me your opions on this, I'm I right or wrong.

Ooltewah is ranked no. 6 in this weeks state poll according to this mornings paper. I think they deserve it and I also think they should be proud for this is the highest ranked Ooltewah team that i have known. I don't believe the team two years ago was ever ranked this high.

Fritts - Give me a break, he couldn't hold Weathers jock strap nor could Colquitt Monroe is the only one I would put with Weathers but he would be second to Tom. Tom's forgot more football than most of the rest will ever learn.

If you looked in the paper this past Friday, you would have seen their top ten coaches of all time, Etter was #1, #2 was Chappell of Dalton, #3 was (forgot who) ,#4 was Monroe of Cleveland and #5 was Weathers of Red Bank need I say more thumb
