I don't know about the other 2 but i hate to see that Erwin's not gonna be out there.How much do you think it will effect there season?I don't see it affecting them much,unless the gunslinger gets injured.Who will they use to back him up?I heard the rumor that maybe Volunteers qb might be transfering to D-B, anyone else heard anything?

Wow, looks like i missed some fun today.Looks like im in trouble here, because i can't spell for crap.Lamon is truly talented, there's no doubt about it, he also knows how to play the position.Speed isn't everything, it does make a difference.North is by far not the fastest team around, but they have definately gain some ground up on teams such as D-B.Another factor teams like D-B had over North,is depth, but they have some pretty good depth this year"if they keep playing".I'm not talking about numbers,i'm talking about qaulity depth.Lamon is a playmaker, but there's 10 other guys out there that are just as important.There's nobody gonna completely shut this kid down, but he won't win it or lose it alone.There's gonna be aspects of the game D-B will control,and some North will.North will win more of the battles and in the end win the war by a touchdown or less.

You would just have to understand how things are going at North.Yeah it does seem to be exaggerated, but the school is in need of a boost.The best way to do that is to get people involved, it wasn't until the last year or two, that you even heard of a alumni group here.You guy's just happen to be our first game, so what's the big deal about trying to get more people to come out.These kids has lived in the shadow of D-B for years, the city pulls every cent they can out of these two communities,and sure don't send much of it back.These kids are the ones that suffers from it the most.It's there schools that are being shut down, because over half the students are city residents.It there school that there wanting to take away from them and place overflow from D-B in.It's these kids brothers and sister's that are going to have to ride a bus 45 min. to get to school and 45 more to get home.So what's the big deal about trying to get some people to come out and leave alittle money at the gate.These kids are overlooked, and left out.Just look at the money donated to D-B from the Eastman, how much did Sullivan North,or South get.Both these schools are in Kingsport,but i guess they can't offer the tax breaks and such.These kids can't go up against the politics in this city, and they are well aware of all of this, thanks to such actions in Lynn Garden.No, D-B itself has nothing to do with any of these things, but these kids do understand the pride the city has in there Indians.They'll be ready to play, and they'll be grateful for every dollar left at the gate.And i don't see the problem with trying to get as many to the gate as possible.If ya don't wanna walk a mile, you got connections with the blimp"parachute in"!!

Good to hear from ya SteelCurtain.I feel the same about region 1, and you guys probably have the best chance of all of us, to bring home a gold ball.Man, i thought you guys had it a year or two ago.Best of luck to you guy's this year and go get that state championship you guys deserve.If ya get a chance, come on up and watch the game.Your more than welcomed, and can cheer for whoever ya want, we'd just be glad to have ya.

LOL, i'm always excited about football.I wouldn't go as far as to say they've already won them.Both teams will have to work hard, and catch some breaks along the way.But i do believe they can compete for them and have a real chance at it.D-B will have a much tougher time, mainly because of the level of competition they face week in and out.North won't have no joy ride,they'll have to face some tough teams along the way.But there not carrying the bullseye on there back that D-B has.Still they both have a shot at it.

Yeah, D-B is looking good, they'll be tough.North is looking better everyday,those lineman are really lookin good.That's where the ballgames are won, in the trenches.Looking ahead just a bit, how do ya think D-B and North will do in there conferences.I believe they both could be playing for the titles in region1-3a and 5a.

Sullivan North has the makeings of a great o-line, most skill position players are talented, but unproven at a varsity level.That o-line should be tough.

No, they both play football only.

That's great Bud, i know we have some rivalries here, but when were not playing each other, it's great to pull for other Kingsport teams.We have alot of good young athletes coming up,but Cody Johnson and Brian McGaha are studs.There both big,strong,and can play football.They could end up playing division 1 football somewhere.

Sullivan North may not be the best, but watch for them to pull some surprises.

Rolltriberoll, my medication is being adjusted daily with every practice.It's a 110mg twice a day of believeing in these kids and there coaches.It may not be, but it feels like it's working for me.RAIDERS 28,INDIANS 24 GO RAIDERS!!!!!! Heehee

WaCoJaCo, nice reply, your right about the game probably meaning more for North than D-B.Let's face it D-B has a very tough conference schedule on down the road,that carries much more meaning to them than this.Sounds like you hit it on the way North will be too,but i believe D-B might be a little more fired up for this one than the South game.Not saying anything against South, but North has had a little more success recently than they have, and some of the D-B kids played with and against some of the North kids over in Lynn Garden growing up.These two reasons is why i think they'll be alittle more fired up for North.The game could be a hard fought close game with D-B pulling it out in the end.I do think D-B has a very good defense,but i believe a higher scoreing game would be more in there favor than a low scoreing one.Finacially, North needs this game far worse than D-B, i hope eveyone comes out to watch.

We don't hate D-B, i have replies in several posts that says nothing but good things about D-B.We just want Sullivan North to get some publicity and support.What's wrong with trying to build some support with our school, or are we always suppose to be in the shadows of D-B.There's alot of people in the North area that support D-B when Norths out of town, or through D-B's playoff runs.How many D-B fans can say they do the same for North.In there eyes there is only one team in Kingsport, heck they're even called the Kingsport Indians now more than the D-B Indians.I don't know where ya got that D-B haters stuff from this post!!!!!!!
