Baylor beat Mccallie in the regular season, but we beat them in the region semis. Jumparound in another thread you posted that CCS lost a lot of your players who were good last year....i'm not saying Mccallie was more skilled last year, but this year CCS has lost more players while Mccallie only lost two seniors

yeah, Mccallie got screwed in the seeding so even though Mccallie beat every Baylor wrestler they challenged in state and beat them in the Mccallie Baylor match, they got that introduction for winning

Ok, here is my theory...if you beat a team once, you're lucky. if you beat a team twice you're better than them. if you beat a team thrice then you own them...we'll just have to see if Baylor really owns McCallie

i'm going to have to agree with tempe on this one. i know baylor has a lot of talent, and they beat mccallie last year the first time with no competition. however, even after seeing mccallie play that year jimmy couldn't counter the solid play by mccallie in the region semis.

Going to an all guys highschool is not gay, however going to an all guys college is....All of my friends that are in college said that after going to an all guys school they can actually appreciate girls.

ok, i want to post something about the topic then i can digress about the hostilities at hand. I definately think that Baylor has no credible reason to be at the number one spot, because jimmy weekley cannot win the game for Baylor. however, that's not to say that they don't have talent, because they obviously do all through the senior to freshman class........now, i think that cliff did get a little hasty about calling stephen an idiot at first, but i definately think there should be some sort of confrontation cause i know for a fact that nothing will come out of it...it's just fun to get hyped up about something and then nothing really happening with no repercussions.

silverpie- The seedings first look at last years placers. Geismar beat Simpson in the semis last year and he then lost to Hiller in the finals taking second, Simpson took third. Therefore Geismar would be #1 seed and Simpson #2. However, Young from McCallie defeated Geismar in their last meeting this year. By the rules and guidelines of seeding that the TSSAA themselves have laid out, Young should then jump ahead of Geismar to the #1 seed with Geismar at #2 and Simpson at #3. Even though that might not seem fair it is clearly and has been clearly the rule for the last 4 or 5 years. What we have here is a case of either Frank Simpson or Jim Morgan calling up Ronnie Carter and complaining until he got his way. The way they originally had it seeded was the correct order. And R.C. and the TSSAA are contradicting themseleves and their guidlines of seeding by doing this. It is pretty sad and unfair, and they know that they need to change it back.

CCS played well tonight after the first quarter...and i will also say that McCallie played poorly throughout the entire game..i apologize to the McCallie fans because that was the lamest excuse for a basketball game i've ever seen. hopefully they'll get it together after this winterim break and come back to win a few games
