That shouyld be the focus of the team and everybody in Milan. Its over and done with now, but they can still win the region. Theres no need to keep revisiting this situation.

I just heard the broadcast and I am very proud of the guy on 96.5 for taking a stand for the Milan program. He told Ronnie Carter himself that he thought it wasn't fair. I also heard USJ's coach sent out a letter to all the other coaches in 7-2A saying that Milan had an illegal player playing on the team. This was last week. I think we all know now how this all came about. 34-0 and then you get called out publicly about your "dirty plays" so you find some way to get back at Milan. Also Ronnie Carter said "he just happened to be in the West Tennessee area with bussiness at USJ last week...but yet he denies any talk of the player from Milan"...ill take that as one of the many lies we'll recieve this week from the source of the leak.

For any milan fans Ive got a video yall will want to see..Does anyone know how to put a file on here where people can download it?

And I hate that for the USJ players that were on that team. Honestly, they won that and they should still be Champions and they are in everybody elses eye. BUT, its pretty clear who called the TSSAA this past week on Milan...and I don't think its going to sit well for a number of years to come.

What happened at CPA?

First, Im not trying to start controversy.

If the TSSAA APPROVED the move and APPROVED him playing in Milan. It then is not Coach Morris' responsibility to tuck that kid in every night and make sure hes sleeping in Milan. I do not see how they will make Milan forfiet any wins. The TSSAA can't say.."We approve these actions"..and then halfway through the season penalize their own approvement.

"Normally we wouldn't respond to anonymous calls because we get anonymous calls all the time," Carter said, "but we were in West Tennessee for other business, so we decided to follow up. The anonymous calls made us concerned about the situation."

A couple of points....

1) Anonymous calls?...Thats pretty interesting. Ill go out on a limb and start making some accusations to Mr. Carter and see if he will "follow up" since he MIGHT be in the neighborhood of west tennessee picking up sticks. Give me a break. Someone high up at USJ made that call.

2)This all comes up after USJ gets embarrassed at Johnnie Hale Stadium.

3) What goes around, comes around. You'll get pounded again next year.

If any of you were actually watching the baseball game you would know what im talking about. Ive been around the game for quite a while, and won it all. I know garbage officiating when I see it. Those umpires need to be at a little league district tournament.

I was there yesterday, and that officiating was absolute garbage. Also, why do we have dyersburg umpires officiating a Milan/Dyer Co. game in the postseason? I can take a loss when it is handed to us but I cannot take a loss handed by a generous strike zone favoring Dyer Co.

Milan kicked it around the last inning and let a comeback take place. Milan will have to bounce back.

Is not that soft, they just lose the hard games

Similar to Lexington getting beat by Milan 7 out of 8 times in the past two years? And winning 10 out of 14 dating back to 2002? I guess we aren't that tough afterall.

I dont think there is a team that has just a dominant hold on all the other teams. Any one of those teams could get beaten by the other.

That`s true. I don`t buy the Sun. The best baseball coverage for West TN is found right here on the T. I learn more about what`s happening from this board than the Jackson Sun could even think of carrying. And if there`s something I don`t know then normally all I have to do is ask it on here and 99% of the time someone can answer it.

 

It`s just another reason why everyone needs to pay 12 bucks to be a Plus Member and do a small part to help coacht keep this website going.
