  1. The remaining home games for the Forrest Rockets will air LIVE audio and VIDEO on WAXO TV starting with this friday's game. The WAXO TV feed on STC Cable in Chapel Hill, Unionville, Eagleville , Collage Grove, Nolensville and all points in between will be part of this broadcast. The rest of the WAXO TV coverage area will still have the audio cast live on the TV. We think this is the first time this many games have been broadcast for one school in Tennessee. If your not in the WAXO TV area you can still hear the game at waxo.com. Also the replay of the games will, as always, air on saturdays begining at 8am followed by the Marshall County Tigers and both will repete all day long audio AND video on WAXO TV as well as waxo.com. We are very excited and hope you can join us.

South Pittsburg is doing the same thing this year. Their 6 home games are live on TV. I think it is great that a couple of small schools like South Pitt and Forrest are able to do this. Are there any other teams that do their games live on TV?

  2. Actually no it isn't a front is moving through today & tonight bringing the rain to and end sometime around the middle of the day saturday.

    Tonight: chance of rain 60%

Tomorrow: High near 84, with a 30% chance of rain mainly before noon!

Tomorrow Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Southeast wind around 5 mph.

10%-20% chance of rain before 7:00pm

Ok, that is what I get for listening to the radio. They said that it increased as the day went on. Thank you for the clarification.

Can you not come tomorrow night?

Will be out of town tomorrow B)

  3. To my understanding the coaches from the other teams in the Jamboree called the High school and said they didn't want there kids to get hurt and they asked if they could postpone it til tomorrow night....

Alright, that makes some sense. I just hate that I am not going to see any football now until week 1. I can listen to the radio next week though if it is on. B)

  4. Does Grace have any lights yet or will they still be playing their home games on Saturdays?

Will David Brainerd Christian be moving to this region in a couple of years? I heard that they are leaving Div. II.

Will Silverdale be building a football field closer to their school at anytime or keep playing where they are now?

Same question as above for Temple, although I believe that they have less room to operate.

  5. ...I have said I'd like to see this match-up for several years especially the year that S.Pitt won state(1999) and the Rams lost to eventual state champ G'Pasture...the only thing we have a full schedule next year...Walker Valley is our week 1 game and Bledsoe is week 2.

I thought South Pittsburg had a full one too. Was Greenback a one year deal or something?

  6. Thanks hope to see a great game!

I've got to give you people from Temple props. There were some people talking trash in the preseason as well as some people just wishing your team good luck. After a couple of games you fell to 0-2 but instead of going in the tank your team stunk it up and started playing some good ball. Also the few that talked trash either went away or changed their attitude and those of you who were faithful have been here every week encouraging your team. If you guys had the numbers of some of your opponents your record might be better than it is and you might have been right up there competing with SP for the region championship like the media predicted. Good luck tonight and for the rest of the year. Bigbody, looking forward to seeing you play tonight, good luck to you and your teammates

    Prediction:

SP rolls in this one (I hope) 42-14

  7. It's a shame you can't see the video. But no matter what you wouldn't believe, and that’s why your boys are the way they are it comes from the parents all the way down to the coaches.

You can whine all you want but anyone can see the truth.

Yeah, the truth is SP won and the game is over and has been over for a few weeks. Why is this even being brought up?

  8. The pirates ought to win in this one but they wont b/c of 2 reasons. 1 is b/c they wont have any blocking from all of the players that will have to block. and the other is the D will think they have it all under control and go out there and get an upset. And why does every one think that #24 is a heck of a player. I really dont see it. He runs hard but he's slow. And his cousin I think is the Antonio kid is a good player when the balls in the air but if he isnt getting the ball he can be lazy to. I also never see him on hardly any tackles on defense. What a wuss. And the QB needs to be a lineman.

Awww. Someone needs a nap. It sounds like him is mad that them big, bad Pirates beat his team and broke his wittle heart.

  9. ...didn't make it to the state championship?  they were in that game weren't they?  wasn't that game the state championship game?  anyway, i have to agree.  they (BBS) had the game, but let it literally slip through their fingers.

If you're talking to me, you are right, Boyd was there. I was referring to the guy who originally started this post.

  10. My top three......

    1. South Pitt - 1998 Set State record for most points scored in TN history in a season...( including all classifications)

    2. Marion County- 1993 More overall talent and depth than in 94 and 95... should have kicked extra point

    3. Boyd Buchannon- 2004 Led half in state title game 28-7

Not bad for a first post. Sounds like someone is upset that their team can't make it to the state championship.
