Is it true that a former Pirate is helping the Warriors practice for the Pirate's speed? And I'm not referring to anyone on the coaching staff.

South Pittsburg is doing the same thing this year. Their 6 home games are live on TV. I think it is great that a couple of small schools like South Pitt and Forrest are able to do this. Are there any other teams that do their games live on TV?

Alright, that makes some sense. I just hate that I am not going to see any football now until week 1. I can listen to the radio next week though if it is on.

I didn't realize it was a quiltin' bee? I thought it was a football jamboree. What gives with the postponing of it? The chance of rain increases tomorrow as the day goes on as well. What are they going to do then? Postpone it again?

If folks don't like it they need to play better defense against them.

Does Grace have any lights yet or will they still be playing their home games on Saturdays? Will David Brainerd Christian be moving to this region in a couple of years? I heard that they are leaving Div. II. Will Silverdale be building a football field closer to their school at anytime or keep playing where they are now? Same question as above for Temple, although I believe that they have less room to operate.

What is the spring practice schedule for the teams in this region? Have any of them already started?

Just heard they are replacing the Sequatchie game. Why aren't they playing next year?

I thought South Pittsburg had a full one too. Was Greenback a one year deal or something?

What was up with the Whitwell players out there after the game starting crap with South Pitt? I don't care if they were cheering for Friendship but what is with talking junk to the Pirates? We beat them 2 weeks earlier, its not like they have anything to talk smack about.

Where do they play? Do they play at Redoubt? Also, their coach, who is he? TSSAA.org says Bill Oliver. That's not "Brother" Bill is it? Is it his son? Aren't they from Chattanooga?

I've got to give you people from Temple props. There were some people talking trash in the preseason as well as some people just wishing your team good luck. After a couple of games you fell to 0-2 but instead of going in the tank your team stunk it up and started playing some good ball. Also the few that talked trash either went away or changed their attitude and those of you who were faithful have been here every week encouraging your team. If you guys had the numbers of some of your opponents your record might be better than it is and you might have been right up there competing with SP for the region championship like the media predicted. I can't believe that no one is talking this game up. Pirates by 21!

Yeah, the truth is SP won and the game is over and has been over for a few weeks. Why is this even being brought up?

Why wasn't this game on the radio last night? Were they not able to get a feed from Copper Basin?

1-2 Unaka. 0-2 Temple. Who wins? How does it go? No one is talking about it.

Normally this is not a game anyone concerns themself with. South Pittsburg has never lost to Lookout Valley on the football field. But since Valley beat Temple (who was supposed to be good this year) and people are talking about how much better the Yellow Jackets are this year, how does everyone see this one going? I'm thinking about like last year. Maybe not the 31-6 score but pretty close to that one.

I heard last night that neither Matthews nor Mitchell will be playing in the game tonight. That could pretty much seal it for Sequatchie County. It would have been a tough game for South Pittsburg with them in anyway but now it makes it that much harder. Good luck to both teams and maybe South Pittsburg can still find a way to pull off the upset.
