Lawrence Co Wildcats lead the district with a 4 and 0 record and a refuse to lose attitude that has help them stay on top of the district standings. They also have one of the top senior players in the district in Desmond McGuire. Coach Burleson has done a wonder job of putting a line up made up of 3 seniors and two sophmores.

Who do you think is the best freshman player for the first half of this season? I vote for Anne Marie Lanning Riverdale Watched her play last year at EO Coffman in Lawrenceburg best 8th grader i have ever seen also.

In reply to Validation 1's Shondona Perkins never really showed us what she could really do because of her Junior and Senior years being rehab years for ACL surgery. Being a great player means you are on the court and contributing to your teams winning season. I agree she was probably the best athelete we had but unfortunately we never got to see her play at that level.

I disagree a kid needs to go and play where there talents can be showcased and if a kids moves in from a surrounding county it only shows that your program plays top caliber talent and the kid is seen by a lot of colleges. Lawrence Co has that type of program because John Wild is one of the top HS coache s in Tennessee.

Seen Oak Ridge Play last Sat. they are the real deal. Shelbyville I don't see anyone coming close to them in the State this year

Lawrence Co will play White Co tough for 4 periods. They are going to surpirse some teams this year.

How about Sophomore Lauran Hudgins from Tullahoma if you have not watched her play you are missing a real treat. A real warrior on the court and the leader of that team she needs to be on the sophmore list.
