Pigeon Forge has taken the first step in AA. They beat Harpeth with a freshman lefty and have their two junior pitchers with a combined 17-1 record waiting to go. Go Pigeon Forge!!!!

Why? Happy Valley is going on the road against a repeating district champ and both teams will probably throw their ace. Pigeon Forge's ace is 10-0 on the season and he usually pitches against the better teams. I'll take Pigeon Forge.

Pigeon Forge has won the district tournament the last two years. They have go with three pitchers, none seniors, and the coach doesn't even tell us who is going to start until game time. They were 14-2 in the district in regular season and also had a big win over Seymour during the season. Their strengths are consistency and solid coaching.

I thought Rutledge and Pigeon Forge were headed for a showdown for the title. Pigeon Forge and Tyler Cannon did their part, what happened to Rutledge?

PIGEON FORGE WAS SUPPOSED TO BEAT CLAIBORNE AND UNION. THEY WERE NOT EXPECTED TO GO TO LOUDON COUNTY AND WIN TWICE, GREENBACK AND LENOIR CITY. I HAVEN'T READ ONE POST WHERE THOSE WHO SAID THOSE GAMES WOULD BE UGLY HAVE SAID THE TIGERS ARE FOR REAL. WELL, DON'T CLAM UP ON ME NOW, HOW BOUT THEM TIGERS?

Pigeon Forge didn't whip Greenback by any means. Both teams moved the ball on eachother and both teams self destructed a couple of times. The biggest difference was the kicking game. Pigeon Forge scored 10 points, a kickoff return and 4 extra points, to none for Greenback. Greenback didn't convert a single extra point. They both scored four touchdowns. Overall, they looked pretty evenly matched, it was just PF's turn to win a close won in the series.

Pigeon Forge at Pigeon Forge should be enought to handle Union. I know Pigoen Forge just got by Greenback at Greenback and nobody expected that. Who has Union played this year and how did they do?
