Listen dukie I have enough sense to compliment a person when they are doing a good job. I have said that he may end up being a good basketball coach. I think that he done a great job to get the win over Rutledge because we don't have a player as good as Singleton and Day and still played as a team to get the win, so he deserves congradulations, big win. Moms and dads don't get on here and tell how good little johnny is, Singleton and Day to me are the better of the players. However I do agree that Coach Jessie needs to give up football.

First I would like to say congradulations to Union County great win. And I do have good things to say about them. What has happened to Rutledge? Two straight conference losses to CG and UC.

Aben, As soon as the adults in UC adminatration and coaches do something positive I will give them credit. I don't want to argue with a kid. Tell ucpatriot to come back and we can pick up a conversation. Union County has been making bad decisions in athletics long before you were in high school so don't take personal. By the way I have seen you play twice this year, you have an above adverage team for UC. But you also had better players on the football squad and still posted a two win season. I hope you do better in basketball, I think that the coach will do some what better. Since he has some background in the sport.

They have not won anything in so long they don't know how. However, if you can't take the heat......A coach told me once that two things will happen to a team that gets beat this bad. They either get better or quit.

We have met once through a friend and previous coach of the patriots, BB coach. I have followed your son when I could, it was a loss to our school when your family left. ( Lets not go there.) I have a couple of friends in KY now, can't keep them off the lake. I think you know them well.

I remember on a thread about the player from Gallitin ,how many of you were stating that the TSSAA represented all the schools and how they just followed what the schools wanted. That Ronnie Carter didn't make the rules we as schools made them and they were just puppets. Seems the puppets has taken steps on their own. But make no mistake about it pressure from private school alumni, money and politics made this call. So the next time someone says don't blame the TSSAA, remember what your vote was worth to them!!!!!!!!

Hillsboro , you were a better team than Maryville last year and still got beat. I will say that you are the better team but you haven't proven yourself that you can play in the big one. Morristown West has not proven themselves in the big one at all. So this is why I beleve that it will be a close one. Coaching must go to West, this is why I think that it will be close. Athletes goes to Hillsboro if they come to play and play as a team I'll give them the edge, but never count out what Coach Woods and Coach Thompson will bring. Morristown is the underdog make no mistake about it, but the underdog has been known to win from time to time. Hillsboro by a slim 7, But don't be to surprised if Morristown wins.

I think Maryville would match up better against Hillsboro. what I have seen they can be taken out of their game. But if they get hot they can kill you.
