If they play the way they did against White County, it will be Cookeville by 15. What is the deal with the Blackman coach? I was at the game Friday night and he only called one time out during the first half. The girls were struggling and needed some help but he just sat there. The game plan evidently wasn't working so shouldn't he have done something? The White County coach is up working and coaching the whole game. I have read so many complaints on this board about their coach but he looks like a really good coach to me. What is the deal with Carter? He keeps yanking her in and out of the game. They are a much better team with her on the floor. She needs to shoot more but her defense and rebounding on the defensive boards should keep her in the game. They don't have anyone who gets the ball to the inside players better than she does. Granted, I have only seen a couple of games but he did the same thing to her in the Shelbyville game. I watched his other starters throw the ball away repeatedly, play very little defense, but yet they stayed in the game. The Thompson girl has really added some offense for Blackman but her defense could use some work. Huges and Hicks are having solid years. But, what is the deal bringing in the sophmore and freshman in the last few minutes. They were making a comeback against White County when he put them in. You don't take out your 3 point shooters and put in two inexperinced player who can't shoot when you are trying to get back in the game. Blackman has some great talent but it was not showing Friday night. Hopefully they will get things turned around starting with Cookeville tonight.
