For a fact Rang has an awesome resume and has been active in some impressive programs. My only question would be how long will he stay around? He should be very good for the Lions so long as he see's the job thru.

Glad to hear that ya'lls wait is over but, not understanding why Chad wasn't chosen. Rang has good credentials as a coach even though he definitely made some teaching mistakes in a big way and got in trouble for it. I hope for ya'll that part of his past stays in the past. Any of ya'll that want to jump on the Rebel bandwagon are welcome but then you'll have to deal with the ever popular "talent sucking helmet". LOL But then ya'll can learn to not like Huntingdon along with Westview!!! LOL Personally I think Rang will be a good hire for Dresden even though not the "popular" choice of the community right now.

McKenzie would gladly accept the Gleason kids if it were possible/practical. And I don't think Greenfield likes anybody sports wise!? But the individual towns won't be making those decisions in the end.

No sir that was not my intent at all. My comment was to say that Dresden has been a better team overall since Hodge became head coach. When I mentioned Gleason there was discussion about what opponents had players moving to the next level and Gleason was not mentioned and I was simply saying that they had football players going into the college football ranks as well. I in no way insinuated that Gleason was of the same caliber as Milan.

Since you asked, crappie fishing is plain hot now. Dogwoods are blooming and crappie are biting. Been like that many years. The cold front we just had kinda shut their mouth for a few days but they are back in force now. Catfishing is good on the river deltas and around the rocks as they move in to spawn too.

PS-- there is one player off this past season's Gleason football team that will be playing next fall in college and likely one more. Chase Ezell will be at Bethel U. and at least one more should be somewhere so don't discredit the Bulldogs in opponent comparison on that regard.

I likely should just read and see what happens. But, I never listen to my self. I can only say this.....in past years recently it always came down to "all we gotta do is beat Dresden and we're in the playoffs......no problem!" Then two years ago Hodge took over and that all changed dramatically. Since the recent reclassification it's not an issue for us but the bottom line is that Dresden has been a better football team under the leadership of the Hodge brothers. Chad should get first consideration in all of this.

Can you at least TRY to be relevant on here. Exactly what did that response have to do with any topic being discussed. But since you brought it up at least we didn't throw away a championship by calling one of the all time dumbest plays on the two point conversion attempt late in the game.
