I believe he was refering to the spot that they blew. Maybe you have a picture of that to. If not then go look at the film.... I do agree with you that it was a good game. The best one we hav had in a while.

So why did one of the refs say they blew the call after the game.....

Give that win to Coach Rhodes. If it had not been for him running on to the field and somehow getting the ref to change his call from ruffing the punter to running into the punter Sweetwater would have lost. Still can't see how a 4th and 6 became a 4th and 3 after the 5 yard mark off. I guess that they could not find the spot because the chains had already been moved and it was 1st and 10 until Rhodes got in the refs face.

Do you think there are coaches that intimidate refs during a game that affect some calls

I totally agree with you Bald Coach. However I have heard from some former players at a certain school that the coach knows that it is going on and does not discourage it. He is so caught up in trying to get a state championship that he would do practically anything to win. You can take one look at their O and D line and just wonder if they have that many kids in their program that is naturally that big and strong.

What do you think about the use of steriods in high school football. Some programs turn their head. Some strickly will not allow it and some will even promote it. What should happen to the ones that turn their head or think it is ok?
