As far as Hawkins County coaching goes, there are only 3 that call their teams State Champs in the last 15 years or so. Since you know so much about baseball, Fanatic, you tell me who they are.

Be careful which one of the D.G. s you are trashing out(although, since ya'll quit baseball, you feel the need to trash out anyone still involved) one of them will only show the world your ignorance, while the other one might go a step further. p.s. When does spring football start? I hear there are some really good freshmen coming up. One more thing GO FALCONS!!!!! lol lol lol

Lost another tough one today at home. South 4, Volunteer 1. Heath pitched very well and defense was good again. Hit the ball pretty good, just missed a key hit or two. Even though we were O-for the week, I think the guys battled all week and that is always a good thing.Good luck next week.

I was there tonight. We're just snakebit. The guys battled hard, hit it well, only one or two errors and Cody and Heath threw well. We did get hosed on about 3 calls, but no excuses. If we battle like we did tonight, we can win any of the games left on the schedule. Good luck on Friday, guys. Get one at home.

Sounds like a heartbreaker at home tonight. Wasn't there again, but heard we lost 8 to 7 in the top of the 7th. Anybody there with a few more details?

Just heard we lost 7-0 to Boone. Heard we didn't hit it very well. #16 included. I just really wonder why we struggle so much in conference. We had a good fall against basically the same teams and 2 years ago these same guys played for the conference championship against basically the same competition. Not much to say because I wasn't there. Get your heads up Falcons and go try to win one tomorrow against Crockett. Tenn. High Wednesday and we battled pretty good with them last time. Warm up those bats and get going. We're still behind you.

You know what, you're right. I'm sorry for getting pulled into this nonsense with this clueless person. 4 big conference games this week. There's still time to turn this thing around and have a good season. Friday's win was a step in the right direction because it looks like the bats are coming to life. I hope the guys can put it all together and get some revenge for earlier losses. Come on Falcons, just play up to your potential and everything will take care of itself.

Whoever you are (I guarantee you won't come out of hiding) you have issues that you are not talking about that I really don't care about anyway. You have dragged good people through the mud here for your own enjoyment(my son included, then you backed off and said he was a good kid. He doesn't need your validation, neither do I). I won't do that. I WAS on the AABC board and I do know what happened to a lot of money. 1 person has admitted to taking a large amount (and promised to pay it back)and 2 others won't admit it, but most people who know what they are talking about know they did it. Rest assured, I never touched one penny of it. I'll speak to you for the last time, you seem to know exactly who I am, and I will figure out who you are eventually and ask you about your accusations. You obviously have some personal problem with me and DandDD, among others. I don't know if it is jealousy or just a general bad attitude. Either way, we are doing good things for the program, just ask Coach Mac. If you think I stole any money from anyone, come see me. I ain't hard to find and my number is in the book. You'd better have some proof, though. Keep up with that GO FALCONS. I feel sure that, and that alone will help us win the rest of our games. p.s. If he is still in the program, which I am beginning to doubt, he has played for me at some point and has benefitted from the AABC and the work done by the Dugout Club. Bottom line. Bud, I didn't start this argument. I know what you are about and vice versa. Whoever this person is must be surely ticked off about something other than what he/she is saying. You and I know I have never bragged about Justo to anybody. I have kicked his tail for years to try and make him better. You and I have done more work for this program than people will ever know. But, I never stole anything and I won't let ANYONE say that.

You have every right to your opinion, whoever you are. I'm not sure what the "leftovers" comment means, and to be honest, I don't care. But, you did question my integrity regarding money, and I can't accept that. Right now, I have $1,800 in my living room that needs to be rolled and banded to be taken to the bank. It belongs to the Dugout Club. If you think I might spend one cent of it, call me and come get it. You can roll and band it yourself. And to be honest, the first quote you quoted was a "positive" comment about how kids threw well and hit the ball to the right side last night. I have supported this team and will continue to do so for many years to come. You can continue to make excuses about moving up to the Big 9, or you can join us to try and raise money and help these kids get better in the off-season. By the way, DandDD and myself are coaching the 14 and 13 year olds this summer to try and get the next generations of Falcons ready for high school play. I'm not trying to fight anybody. Whoever this person is, they are making some big inferences about things they have no clue about. Anyone who knows me, knows I am pretty hard on my own son and I don't try to put him above anyone else. I have supported this program in every possible way. To infer that I may have taken money from this program or the AABC is UNACCEPTABLE. Everything else is one person's opinion, and they are entitled to it. But, 2 things I will not have questioned is my commitment to the program or my integrity.

Except for the no-hitter he threw, tell me where I said anything positive about Justo. I let him speak for himself. I even questioned his leadership abilities in this very thread. If you're just jealous because he happens to be better than your son, that's not his fault. The AABC group is still there. They just changed their name, for reasons you wouldn't understand. As far as the 8 other players that are out there, who has been the one to take them and play summer ball and fall ball the last several years? I feel like I have put forth the effort to support this program in many, many ways. The only one who has been beside me the whole time has been DandDD, every step of the way. If ANYONE can accuse me of taking one thin dime from this team or the AABC, they are a liar!! Fanatic, I told you where you can find me. Fanatic, thanks for all your help at the roadblock and cleaning, painting, picking up trash, running the concession stand, mowing the field, weed-eating the banks, coaching the fall team so the team could get in some off-season work, donating your own personal time (without pay) coaching at the middle school to help prepare the players for the high school, personally getting a big corporation to donate $6,000 to the program, organizing all the fund-raising activities for the last 4 years. Oh, that's right, you didn't do ANY of those things! Well, I do them all, so excuse me if I get a little frustrated when we don't play up to our potential. I guess I probably shouldn't underestimate your contribution to the program. You did type "Go Falcons" on an internet message board. That should be just as good. If you would like to discuss the "whining", just come to the field. I'll be the guy there working. If you need directions, just ask.

The team got that win DandDD. Justin, Cody, and Little Man threw well. We hit several balls to the right side. Guess that extra BP paid off. Hope the guys keep up the hitting, we're gonna need it Monday night.

Well, looks like we held them under a touchdown, which is good. They hit four HR's, so what would it have been if we had held them to one or two and had ANY hitting at all. Could have been a good game. Bottom line, we have to start hitting it. If it takes hours of batting practice, then that's what it takes. I'm not one to publicly bash coaching, so that's not what this is. But, practicing one or two days a week for an hour and a half ain't getting it done. We need to fix the problem and try to salvage the season. Come on guys, don't fade away. Get it fixed and move on. We're still behind you. Have confidence in your abilities and work hard. You'll get there.

I'd like to say this is none of my business, but, in a way, it is. First, I don't appreciate any fans of other teams bashing a team. Whether it's a Jeff County fan bashing DB or a DB fan bashing Volunteer or South or Central(it happens), it's wrong. These are high school KIDS trying their hardest, leave them alone. I know some of the DB players personally and I think they are good kids and good players with good parents. This year, they are probably upper east Tennessee's best chance to win state, so I hope they go far. Second, Ron Bliss is a DB homer. Facts are facts. He's doing color on the TV games, so why would he be anything other than that. Big deal, he can write it any way he wants. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Alright guys, let's get back on the right track. Some tough games this week, but we can get some W's and have a respectable season, if we start playing up to our potential. The team still is begging for some senior leadership. Anyone reading this who donated this weekend, thanks. We made some good money for the team.
