NO you should never ever yell at a player- you should just give them candy when they do well.

Lets see how Gentry performs this year now that every team knows she is their go to player. I'm not sure she can handle the pressure. As for the freshmen, Tayler Smith has the potential to be one of the better players to come through Kingston. I think Kingston is a year away from being really good.

I think Bilyeu should be given a chance also. He is the main reason OS has been so good the past few years. Those girls come in as freshman ready to step in and play.

Ignore Bigcat1, he's just another upset parent wanting to blame Coach Webb. I did hear that Rockwood had a tough pratice Monday. They pretty much beat the snot out of each other.

Lets see, I want to get this straight, Kingston fans are saying that if Rockwood lost to Midway they dont stand a chance against the Yellow (orange and blue) jackets?  Rockwood piled up over 360 yards of total offense and dominated Midway.  Six tiger turnovers gave Midway (which only had 176 yrds total offense) all 23 of their points.  Last week the tigers had over 380 yrds against Wartburg.  Now Kingston supposedly played a bad turnover ridden game with Harriman and didnt put them away until late in the third quarter...and lets see harriman is a single A team (like Midway) but the mighty jackets are a TRIPLE A school.  And now after losing to Livingston (which lost the week before to single A Trousdale County) they are saying they had ANOTHER bad game????  Livingston had over 400 yrds and Kingston barely broke 200 according to the stats I saw.  Looks like Kingston fans need to change their vocabulary.....instead of saying they are playing bad, maybe they should say this is as good as they will be!!!

You are insane. Rockwood dominated Midway!!!! First off- you LOST. Second- you didn't even score until after halftime. Please don't brag about beating Wartburg. An 80 yr old woman could probably rack up some serious yards against them. Anyway, you can throw the records out the window in this county rivalry. Everyone should be ready to play regardless of who they have lost to. Quit bragging about beating us the past two years. Talk about a fluke.

That one whiny Kingston fan does not represent the entire city of Kingston. That post was ridiculous. We got beat fair and square. LA has an outstanding Qb. we will bounce back this week, but we have got to work on the new offense. It looked horrendous Friday night. Also unless the defense learns how to stop the inside reverse, Rockwood will make it 3 in a row. The jackets need to bow their backs and gets some pride about them for this Friday night.

Nobody from Kingston cares if Rockwood or Harriman pulls for us. I guess I would pull against a team if they beat me 90% of the time, also. I wouldn't say anything about holding onto the ball if I just lost to Midway, Rockvegas. Not only can you all not hold onto the ball, you can't catch it either. Breazeale did a good job, considering he didn't take a snap last year, its sad he doesn't have anybody to throw it to.

The Kingston - LA will be close Friday. If Chad can hang onto the ball I'll take Kingston by a touchdown. If they play like they did in the first half against Harriman, LA will win.

Good job Lady Jackets. You had a chance to win. Gibbs has a good team, and an excellent pitcher. I hate that the runs scored were on errors, but that has been the problem all year. Good job this season, you have made leaps and bounds since the beginning of the year. You are losing a great group of seniors but next year's team has the chance to be special. Just remember these last two losses in the off-season and work your butts off this summer to get better. Remember if you want to beat the best you have to practice like them.

Not to take anything away from LC becasue they have a good team and Vaughn is probably the best all around high school player I have seen, but Kingston did a good job of beating themselves Thursday and Sun. Way too many silly errors.

I agree. Kingston won't get close, LC- Alcoa will be close. LC may struggle with Vaughn being slowed by an injury.

Very well put Mrs. Robinette. Some people may take this as a wife defending her husband, but what she wrote is much more than that. It is so easy to get on here and hide behind a screen name and bash people, while most of the time not even knowing what you are talking about. I mostly follow the softball team, so I have seen few baseball games but I do know that Coach Robinette works very hard and is a fine person. Nobody sees all of the work that goes into coaching behind the scenes or the countless hours spent worrying about the decisions that have been made or have to be made. Coaches sacrefice many hours with their own kids and family to spend time with our kids to try to make them better and all other people want to do is tear them down. I'm sure if Bruce had won the district every thing would be all smiles and roses, but then again the softball team won the district and they had two parents wanting rid of their coach because he practices TOO much. At another team in the county, they criticize their coach for practicing too little. Even when you win it is never enough for everyone on the team or every spectator. This type of thing is ruining high school athletics, do people not see that. I guarantee you bleachercoach if you were to coach that team next year you would have someone on here bashing you, no coach is immune, no matter how great you think your ideas about what needs to be done are. Please remember when you are on these boards that you are talking about an individual that usually is trying their best and has the best intentions of his/her team at heart. I mean, what do you think- that Coach Robinette is trying to lose? Heather you keep standing behind your husband. I'm glad you had the guts to stand up for him on here. You are not alone, there are lots of people In Kingston who respect him and think he does a good job.

Well put KHS. I just don't belive bleachercoach is who he says he is. I think he is an upset player on the Kingston team who is hiding behing a screen name. I don't buy all this bull about being a scout or whatever.

Keep it up girls. Last night was big, but we need one more win to be district champs.

Congratulations to the Lady Jackets on winning the district last night by beating an excellent L.C. team.You all have worked hard all year and deserve it. This goes to show that all of those hours of practice will pay off. No one expected this team to win 10 games this year at the beginning, much less win the district. Coach Brackett and his staff has done an excellent job with this young team. Keep up the hard work because this district is wide open and anyone can win it. Good luck next week.

Hey BigCat1 I'm not the one on here running my mouth before the game about having the big bats show up and talking about big ol AA.And exactly what attitude did I have before football season, and hoiw exactly do you know I am a "he" ? Those comments were in response to previous posts. I had enough sense to wait until after the game to say anything. Those of you that say quit talking about respect, well take a look at the title of the thread, which no doubt was started by a parent, not a player. I have stated that Rockwood has solid team, and I am predicting that they will go to the state because they should have gone last year.The comment about the pictures was made because I know for a fact that several Rockwood parents have complained to Goose all year for not covering Rockwood enough and always having Kingston in there. I was just simply stating that I hope they enjoy the coverage. If you are going to run your mouth about being good, then back it up! If Rockwod wins one big game they act like they've won the state, but one loss and suddenly its the coaches fault for not playing younger players or not practicing enough or some silly excuse. As for all of our runs being on errors or walks, well your defense has to perform and it does takes discipline to not swing at bad pitches. In my opinion Megan Turner should have been pitching for you all anyway.
