I will say this...some of the calls the coaches gave on plays seemed sort of silly.. I was thinking why are they doing that??? General Question: Not trying to get on the coaches case too much, but how long have they been coaching? Long time? What is experience on the coaching staff there at Cannon Co.?

Mamajacket: Try being asked to leave a business in Hartsville last year because you were from Lafayette. Happened. And nope wasn't because something was said either...It was because Macon had won the night before and the person had a Macon Co. t-shirt on...try getting it rubbed in your face every year that your team is NO good..and doesn't deserve to win...happened to my hubby ever since he has worked with some guys from Hartsville. Even with all that being done...I still say congrats to Hartsville on their win Friday night..They played a A-1 game! Forward on to the next thread....see ya there....

Thank You bigB...I have tried to be sympathic when it came to this issue...but I was slowly losing control of my feelings..

Before it was one player that spit..now it is a few of the players...next it will be all of Macon Co. fans that spit on the TC... Last year I remember this being brought up..and It was said one player did this..I was at the game..I did not see him do this...but again I was NOT there right beside him when he supposedly did this, nor was my eyes just on him to see him do this (as many others must have been)..Not saying he didn't do it...He may have..But he needed to apologize for his actions...I am not so incline to do this, because HE supposedly done this..he should be the one apologizing. But HE is not playing this year, other boys are..so don't be bringing up last years indiscretions of ONE player to bring down a whole team this year...

You gonna bring up Last Year then I am gonna talk about it... Just exactly HOW did we act last year when we beat Trousdale??? Like a team that was going to Playoffs..Like a team that won..Like a team proud that they did a good job..Like a team that had not beat Trousdale in previous years.....Heck yeah we were proud...But you can't sit there and tell me that IF you had of won that game last year, that you WOULD NOT have acted proud too.. I know you don't know each and every fan personally, so you have to catagorized us all into one word "FANS", but this is one fan who was proud we did as well as we did last year and wished you well too. As far as sore losers and sore winners last year...Let me recap some post from last years Threads...(Yeah I went digging and found them) So not everyone was sore losers or sore winners... I started this thread this week...and I would have been on here last night to address the comments had I not been sick, no not sick about the game, but "Physically SICK" Therefore I couldn't get on here last night..BUT I am here now.. So this week was a pivital week for both teams..Macon really needed this win.. Trousdale would have had to play their worse game & Macon would have had to play their best game..Neither happened! Mistakes, bad calls, & outright not controlling the Trousdale "O" doomed Macon Co. But Trousdale has some superior players esp. # 22 (sorry don't know his name..other than calling him Bulldozer) Because he Bulldozed down the field numerous times. He has some speed..he bounced off players like he was a rubber ball and kept running..I see this guy doing some damage if he goes on to college and beyond... Still proud of Macon Co. boys..they are out there playing hard..working their butts off..more than what Im doing in the stands, Im just screaming for them..I commend them on getting out there and playing... Trousdale congrats on the win...Keep playing the way you did last night and maybe you will go far in the playoffs.. But as I have said from the 2nd game of the season...IF Macon Co. couldn't get to the playoffs this year...My support will go to Portland Panthers...

Got Milk...I know exactly what Swanson was saying...but he did go on to comment on Lafayette's winning tradition..and I was merely replying that it is everyone else who brings that up all the time...NOT US! As far as whiners & crybabies..all I can say is..you going to find that for every team out there..Not just Macon Co.. Your comment on the kids coming from RBS to Lafayette and taking over positions from some players on the team..might be correct..but fact remains they didn't (I have always said that I think both schools should combine into one..consolidate..but it isn't going to happen anytime soon..I know you guys would think it would be a bad move to do..but it actually isn't all that bad..I graduated from a school that did that...) As far as the firing of the B-ball coach (that is a different board altogether..but I will address it) The firing of the BBall coach in my opinion had nothing to do with RBS coaching & team...Do I think he was fired because of something (Prock) wanted yes...did it have to do with RBS? No..I am not a fan of (Prock)..and I think he was wrong in firing the coach..

I am so glad that so many of these teams have their TRADITIONS to fall back on when they lose a game or a season. They lose something, they can always say.."Oh we have Traditions here in so & so county..nevermind we lost this game" What is a shame Swanson71 is that people in Lafayette...DO take up for you guys in RBS..we think it stinks that everyone gives RBS a hard time..we KNOW you guys are doing the best you can with the amount of players you have...and that you don have the support like some of the other teams do..But you guys try hard every year, with the obstacles that you have in front of you...I wish you good luck in the rest of your season, and I know that you try as hard as you guys can out there on that field...As far as Lafayette's Winning TRADITION" Well, you guys are the one always bringing that TRADITION stuff up...We proudly display the fact that we won our Region. But as far as Tradition stuff goes..You guys just fall back on your "TRADITIONS", when you lose.. hopefully that will hold you up for a long time...We instead will rest on the fact that Macon Co. doesn't have a Tradition as our crutch, and go out there and play every game the best we can....win or lose... What do you mean do we have any chance to compete in this game?? Of course we do..we are showing up aren't we...We compete in every game we come into. The atmoshere will be like it always is in the Stadium...Sea of Blue in the stands..boys on the fields rallying for the win..Both teams fans will be behind them..Both teams want for the win..if Macon Co. wins then we tie this Region with Trousdale..if Trousdale wins, they pull ahead..Pivotal game for both..

Twan There you go reading what you want to read...if you will re-read my first post you will see there is not one sentence that says you can only post in here if you are from Macon or Trousdale... It says, "There will plenty of opinions from people who are not from Macon & Trousdale on this thread" Never said you couldn't post..Heck that isn't even up to me. My point was that the boys from both teams Macon & Trousdale, plus their fans, need not concern themselves about posts talking other than this weeks game..Need to concentrate on what's at hand on this Friday night.. I know IF I get on any other thread, concerning this coming Friday games within the region...It will be only to say good luck to both teams before their games..
