  2. Swanson..you & I were here at the same time..Just wanted to add to the story of this. The Seth Foundation is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving water safety in America and providing support systems to families, communities, and public safety agencies when an aquatic accident occurs, aided in the recovery of Jonathan Hudson's body. They brought a boat in that was equipped with special cameras and other devices. They said they would find Jonathan's body. At 12:30 today, they hit upon a body in the lake, the divers then went down in 108ft of water to retrieve the body, somewhere in area of the mouth of Indian Creek. At 1:58pm the body was brought to the surface and was positively identified as that of Jonathan Hudson. Closure has finally been given for family & friends. While this is comforting to many.... #41 will remain in our hearts & memories for a lifetime. GODSPEED #41
  3. For the 5th day, the search has been called off. The missing Jonathan Hudson has not been found yet. One of the sonar boat did have to leave the scene due to a sonar malfunction that could not be fixed. Rescue boats formed 2 rows of 12 boats connected together and drug areas today, but turned up nothing. The search will continue again tomorrow Sunday April 2nd. While you are in church tomorrow, say a prayer and/or ask for a prayer request from the whole church, for the family, friends & rescue teams and most esp. Jonathan Hudson #41 Macon Co. Tigers.
  4. As of 12:30pm Sat, the missing Jonathan Hudson has not been found. The 3 sonar boats have on the lake since 9am this morning. They have been scanning an area that is appx the size of 5 acres of land. To this point, Jonathan has still not been found. The search will continue for a few more hours. If he is not found today, the sonar boats will resume the search tomorrow. It has been said that if he is not found on Sun or before, the Clay Co. Rescue team will have to make a decision on whether to call the search off. Please pray that they find him soon.

  6. Update: The sonar boats are at the scene now. At this time it is reported that 100 to 150 rescue teams are at the swinging bridge parking lot. Teams from Putnam, Macon, Sequatqie (sp?) Allen Co. KY, Clay, RBS and many more. Appx. 300 or more people are at the scene to help in whatever way needed. At this time they have local Macon people who are going to have food for at least 150 people and water for everyone. They are all on standby from the sonar boats at this time. Also, some people may not be aware, but people are trying to go fishing in the area and they are not being allowed in the area at all. I know some people will be fishing this weekend, but I strongly urge them to go to a different lake this weekend. The day Jonathan disappeared was his father's birthday. Yesterday Friday, March 31st was Jonathon birthday. He was 17yrs old.
  7. I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner. It was reported they wanted people to meet there around 9 am. I think the sonar boats were going to be their early. While the 3 sonar boats are in the water, they didn't want any traffic at all in the water, but IF they find something they feel needs to be check further, they would need boats in the water at that time to do drags. I am a little confused about one aspect though. It was reported that if the sonar boats hit upon something, it would then take the divers (I assume that are associated with the sonar boats) 1hr & 40 mins to get to the scene. I assumed the divers would come with the boat. But the radio reported what I said above. So the public boats would be used in the dragging part. As of 9:10am nothing has been released about the situation.
  8. They had to call the search off today due to the rain & rough winds causing the water to white cap. The search will resume tomorrow. The 3 sonar boats will be brought in tomorrow to help with the search. According the radio, they are accepting anyones help that has a boat with a depth finder or graph to help with the search. The search party is organizing at the Swinging Bridge parking lot. Even if you don't have a boat you can still help. The searchers will need drinks & food. Lots of nice people around Celina have brought over Pizzas & sausage biscuits & coffee for the searchers. And if you can't do any of this...PRAY..Pray that Jonathan is found..So their can be come closure to this terrible event.
  9. No he is not the brother of Jason Hudson. Update: They are still looking for Jonathan. People have been searching all day. Divers have made several dives on spots that depth finders have spotted something. A sonar equipped boat was suppose to come today, but it was busy at another place and will not be available until Friday and/or Sat, if needed. Several people have drug parts of the lake near the scene. The water clarity was 15- 20ft clear, then became murky. But they are actually diving in 140ft water now. A helicopter is standing by for the divers in case they come up to fast or should need it. That is all I know for now. Just keep praying people!
  10. Just wanted to add these pictures. Prayers go out to his family, friends & teammates during this difficult time.
  11. See Queenie...you know that Fulton was faster..I know that Fulton was faster... But AE seems to think that the Roadrunners were faster than Fulton.. Oldchsman just asked a valid question.. If they were so much faster than Fulton...then why didn't they beat them & why aren't they getting ready to go to the Boro instead.. TC found out..MC found out..now SC found out... Fulton is flat out..a superior group of players..fast and playmakers.. That is why they are where they are..
  12. Very good question oldchsman... thumb
  13. Doesn't take much to look it up...because Macon Co. has only 2 towns...Lafayette (largest ) & Red Boiling Springs..with all kinds of small communities scattered all over the county...
  14. I have to agree with kwalker on this post..Nothing but CLASS!.. Queenie you should be the speaker for the Smith Co. Mafia..because you summed it up quite well. Congrats to Smith Co. on their great year. Congrats to Fulton on the win and trip to the State once again. As a "One Year Wonder Fan" I was backing the Owls in this game, hoping for redemption for this side of Tennessee. But in the back of mind, I still had the memories of "last year's" game and knew what speed Fulton had. Many times I wanted to comment on the game last year, to let Smith Co. know Fulton did have the speed and drive to win this, but I knew I would be put in the class of MCHS fluke fan running their mouth..so I stayed quite.. Fulton has a remarkable team. I saw that in it's full effect. DeMarcus & Jam Fine rang in my ears last year and was still ringing when this game came to Smith Co. Fulton may lose those 2 great players after this year, but I feel they will have no problems without them, they still have great players coming up behind them. Same goes for Smith Co. Wilmore & Dyer, are great players to name a few. They also will be gone after this year, but Smith Co. is bringing up some more fine players in their place. Good Luck to the Owls in the coming year. As for fans with no class...you know every team has them, but you CANNOT blame the entire team or county for the fault of a few fans. I spoke about this before..for the first time in my life at a football game, I was spit at and told to get back to Macon Co. I as a fan, I may spout my mouth off on here, but I have never been disrepectful to anyone in person at a game, just plain silly... So this year of football is almost over..everyone trying to get their jabs in before it is.. Fulton I'm not sure if we will play you guys every again..but Good Luck with State game.. Smith Co. we will see you guys next year..it won't be a region game...but at least we will meet...
  15. Congrats to the Owls... Now are you guys gonna be a "Good Host" to Fulton and start a new thread for that game.. That is gonna be a good game.. Again congrats...and Good Luck...I am behind the OWLS 100%.. GO OWLS!!!
