  1. You use what works...I formation won't work in NFL. When's the last time you've seen a wishbone set in the NFL? You don't see these formations very often 'cuz they don't work...But they'll work in highschool. AC
  2. Yeah, this game is going to come down to whomever has the fewest turnovers, and whomever has the ball in the last minutes of the game. We'll see what happens. Jacob has a mullet. AC 1...2...3... FOOTBALL!
  3. That's right, nobody gave Marion a chance this year..Mostly alumni/former students, and a few in school. Well, now's a chance to make those dudes eat their words. One more time for Marion... 1....2...3.... FOOTBALL AC
  4. You're pushing it with thousands, but I think we're capable of upper hundreds. AC
  5. I've heard HC and MC are pretty evenly matched, but MC's home record gives them a sort of an edge...They always seem to play better at home. We'll see though AC
  6. Yo, I forgot about Westmoreland getting cut..He stayed hurt most of the time anyway...And when he did play, he played special teams. Oh well...It doesn't matter, 'cuz he won't be on the field Friday night, like I said before. Friday should be a good game. Marion 27 Houston 21 AC
  7. Past teams don't matter, they're not on the field Friday night. One of our championship teams had Eric Westmoreland, who played for UT and now plays for Jacksonville, but you're not going to see him on the field Friday night. We'll see what happens...By the way, first home playoff game for MC in a few years..Expect a huge crowd. AC
  8. I agree. We're lookin' forward to seeing you Coach B. AC
  9. I think both teams are looking for something good in this game. #1: Marion has the chance for 2 shutouts in the region for the season. #2: Meigs has a chance to make the playoffs by winning this game. #3: Marion can make it 2 in a row on the road for the 1st time this season, as well as making it their 2nd road win. #4: This is a battle between even records. The winner of this game has a winning season. AC
  10. I don't think Colquette is going to step down. It's not like he's going to coach anywhere else, and he loves coaching. I think as long as he's involved at a school, he'll be coaching... AC
  11. Paint for the playoffs, anyone? AC
  12. AC from Marion here. I hear a lot about the first round playoffs, and who's playing who, and whatnot, but I don't hear or see any predictions. I want to see some predictions! AC
  13. This one could be close. Marion has had a hard time on the road, but I believe last week turned it around. I have faith in them to pull this one off big. Marion 26 Meigs 14
  14. If I recall correctly, you got shutout by Tyner...Marion at least scored six. So talk all the trash you want, it still doesn't make you a better team. "It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile."~ Vin Diesel, Keep that in mind. AC
  15. I am one of Marion's loyal fans, and they have my full support. I was one of the guys that painted up for the Marion/SP game, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I wish you guys the best of luck in the playoffs. AC
  16. I was just informed this morning that Benson's out with a partially torn MCL. My apologies Bill. I could've swore his mom said ACL. Either way, he can run, but if he gets cut, his MCL's gone, and most likely his ACL. AC
  17. I'm just going by what Benson's mom told me..In the school office she said the Physician reported an x-ray with a torn ACL in his knee..And my fault, it was Aaron..They call him Turtle, and I got confused. AC
  18. I agree Beak. CPA is an excellent team, but they've had a bump in the road. I'm ready to see this team light up like a lamp once again. Good luck guys. AC
  19. Marion is second for sure. One of Marion's starting defensive players, Shawn Dalton, is out for the rest of the season due to knee bursitis. Within the last week, Benson Kinsey, another starting defensive player, got a partially torn ACL in his right knee. Cecil Paris, who orignally played center had to take over Benson's spot, which put Van Kinsey in at center.
  20. I wasn't at the game, but I would say that a few injuries added to Marion's problems...I assume that Van Kinsey, who had to play center, had a hard time adjusting to his position. A lot of the players were probably uncomfortable. AC
  21. Stew, he's not talking trash about the fields..He's saying they are second to none, which means compared to any field, they won't be second... AC
  22. Yeah, talking bad about your family..I mean, concrete workers isn't very nice. And I'm glad you said something about me paving your driveway..Your mom wanted me to visit with her today . I'm telling you man, move on. AC
  23. I've used plenty of facts in my posts. Also, you need to work on your interpretation skills, then you'd realize that I wasnt' talking trash to SP like you said I was (which you also showed no fact of). If I state anything that would require statistics, then I'll use those statistics, instead of just shooting off blindly, and being sorely mistaken like you...And by the way, you're going to work at a concrete plant and a garden center? Man, that's real promising. Haha, have a nice day, and good luck tonight. AC
  24. Agreed. The Moore's (Mickey and Margaret) are the fieldkeepers, and they do a great job. Also, David Moore (our collision repair instructor) does the designs on the football field. He's extremely talented with his hands, and we're extremely lucky to have both of these groups working for us. AC
  25. Hey man, I'm not taking shots at anyone..Meigs1 is way too opinionated, and I shut him down, it's as simple as that. Also, Marion beat Bledsoe 20-0. If that's not a blowout, I don't know what is. As for Meigs's football team..I don't have a problem with them. I never said anything about them, and I'm surely not looking over them thinking MC will just walk all over them..But that one punk kid thinks he knows everything possible. Meigs1 has a difference in opinion with me, but he has no facts. How is that possibly profound? If he had some solid ground backing his arguments, then I'd take into consideration his point of view..But instead he uses his very first post to take shots at me. I don't let anyone take shots at me. I don't care if it offends the administrator..I don't care if Mr. Coach T. himself walks on my doorstep to confront me, if you take shots at me, expect to hear something back. As for playing football, no, I don't play football. I support my team, and will continue to do so. I'm sorry that you think I should feel differently. Now I'm going to end this argument. So here's your one and only shot. If it'll shut you up and actually make you a productive part of the discussion to say that you're right and for me to say I know nothing about football, then I will. If not, then move on, because I'm moving on. AC
