DBFOOTBALL63, I was just wondering if you play for DB and if your number is 63?

DB has a 4-way scrimmage tonight with Morristown West, Knox. Central, and one other school (I believe it is Sullivan North). They scrimmaged Sullivan Central last week. Tonight should be interesting.

Dodyns-Bennett is not a fun place for visiting teams to try and go play at. The place is always packed with the entire city of Kingsport, and when the band marches down to the field, lines up in the endzone, cranks up the the war hoop, and you see the entire team doing "the walk", it doesn't get much more intimidating than that. Plus, they are always good, and hardly ever lose at home.

I don't know about this past year, but I have never seen a team hit people like the DB team of 2000 did on their way to the semis. Those kids used to knock people straight off their block, I'm talkin serious hitting. I remember Jefferson County's coach repeatedly talking about it in the paper after his kids lost 3 helmets. Also, Gerald Riggs said he had never been hit like that after Red Bank beat DB in the semis.
