  1. I am currently a head coach in Mississippi and I was looking to make a move this year. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any jobs coming open in tenn this year. They could be assistant or head either would be fine. I check the tenn state website often just wanted to know if anyone knew of any others. I am certified to teach secondary mathematics

    thanks

A good buddy of mine is a new head coach in Desoto County, Miss. and he did not speak too highly of the way you did him this spring. He said he offered you a job and you took it and then changed your mind very soon after. I would be gun shy to look at you here in Tennessee if I were other coaches. My buddy is a pretty good guy and he was highly disappointed in the way you did him. :thumb::lol::(

  3. SCHS won the first game and MCHS won the second game on Thursday night.

SC has a lot of young pitchers but it seems that only one can get the job done.

According to the leaf chronicle's article it said that mchs swept the doubleheader? What's the story? Good win vs. Waverly What was the box score for this game? Who pitched?

  4. i personally like the five classifications. i believe that it makes competition better. i really think that there should be more classifications in basketball and other sports as well. the travel is going to bad most any way you look at it, tennessee is a state that covers a lot of territory so travel will be difficult almost any way you look at it. personally the private schools should be in a separate private school association anyway, it is that way in every other state, why does TN have to be so difficult.

  5. I am from the state of MS and I know that there are many small schools in MS, I also know that there are a lot of great athletes that have came from the state of MS. For example the NFL's leading receiver Jerry Rice is from a small town called Crawford, MS. Others who have come from the state is Walter Payton, the Titans own Steve McNair is from a small 1A school called Mt. Olive, and there are many others. Big shchools are not always better. I think that when you consolidate or have a large school some students won't partcipate because of the number of the athletes. It is like the old saying "Big fish in a little pond, or little fish in a big pond. Small schools are good in alot of ways.
