i figured someone would have posted something by now. how did the game go? was it a double header?

hey ball player you can't forget about the other senior derrick pyle. he had a pretty good game last night too. these guys are picking up alot of slack for their team and from what i hear the pickett game last night was closer than the score says. i heard the coach took bowman out to save his arm, but that's just hear say.

coach simms, i have watched you coach some great games. they say a basketball team takes on the personality of its coach and from what i saw of them they are always intense, tough, smart, skilled, and classy. i don't know you personally but if those qualities are anything like you, i know you will be greatly missed in clay co. i am from Clarkrange and no matter how competitive the games were you seemed to keep control of yourself and your team. good luck whatever you decide to do.

to the celina fans: about putting your "MVP's" up against ours. . . i would do it anyday of the week. Michelle snow really stepped up her game and played incredible compared to what she played like during the district and region games and not just the championship games either. this is just my opinion but i thought amber strong deserved MVP just as much as herrmann and maybe even rich. she might not have been the leading scorer but she did the little things that w/o them you all wouldn't have won. onthego, you are always one of the first to lose control and just talk as much trash and try to start something. be a man/woman and don't let some kids from chs get under your skin so easy. cool it and let these girls enjoy what they have done. it could be clay co. next year and you know you wouldn't want Clarkrange people talking smack like that. BUFFALO BUTTS. . . good one how many seniors did clay have anyway? i know Clarkrange is losing snow, jones, and beaty. just curious what the competition is gonna be like.

Speaking of snow did you see that sign one clarkrange fan had yesterday? just in case you didn't it went something like this: Today's weather for the 'boro- 100% chance for snow!!!! that was funny. the fans really showed up and supported our girls yesterday. i was very proud to be a buffalo. good luck girls. not many teams can say they made it this far. the 4 teams that are left have nothing to be ashamed of and have showed they are all high quality programs. good luck the rest of the way.

hey theanswer9 i know dr. huddleston. he is a family friend and pretty good guy too i might add. he is pretty well known around c-range, and thanks for the support too.

DOGPOUND, i almost fell out of my chair when i read that. a clay co. person almost kind of cheering on clarkrange in this one. i can respect that and good luck to you all too. thanks.

thanks sam4vol for the info. i would love to see an all 7A state championship game, but we have to make it there first. we will make it one game at a time. first Unaka, then the gold.

they have no seniors?? things are looking good in chattanooga next year. by watching the game you could have never guessed that. i read the score in the clay co. game. sounds like they had a pretty good game too. anybody have any stats?

the Clarkrange lady buffs won tonight at Chattanooga Christian 55-51. they never gave up and showed just how good they can be when they play ball. congrats girls we are proud of you and we'll see you in the 'buro. good game Chattanooga Christian you all played good. i was really impressed w/ the mason girl too. i think she wound up w/ about 29 or so. clay co. watch out. . . . Clarkrange is coming for you

the other thread was locked, but i still have something to say. i am not trying to be on either side in this argument, but i have a couple of things to get off my chest. first of all clay co. can say nothing about Clarkrange's fans and the same goes for Clarkrange fans talking about clay co. both sides got out of hand and that goes back to the officiating. they didn't do their job like they should have- bottom line. they let the pushing and hacking FROM BOTH SIDES go too far and made bad calls BOTH WAYS. clay co. players, Clarkrange players, coach rogers, and the refs all had 1 thing in common last night. . . they let the crowds get to them. my next point is about the intentional foul. i saw the girl hit #5. now i don't know #51, i will say that right off the bat, but 1 celina fan said she was a good church girl and then said she got caught up in the emotion of the game. actions speak louder than words she said a mouthful last night. honestly i had a ref blocking my view and i couldn't see it, but the ref called what he saw. that was his judgement and not saying it was right or wrong but complaining about it isn't going to change it. i hope we see a state championship game between these two. great game and it's just a shame that there had to be a loser.

you're right.t hat was one of the best games emotionally speaking that i have seen in a while. both teams wantewd to win baaaadd. maybe more people will see this "show" in the big game. . . state finals.

I believe only 2 teams from each region go on to sub-state. the region winner plays at home and the loser plays an away game.

Clarkrange didn't even show up tonight. i'm not sure what happened, but RBS played a heck of a game. Good luck in the region guys.

Clarkrange lost alot, but they still have alot. it's going to be a down year for them without question, but i am just saying that i think they will surprise a few teams this season. They have some new players and have 5 or 6 seniors coming back. Give these guys a little credit.
