I'm hoping that you guys end 5-5 so we can get you in a bowl and make it even for last week. We've played them and they are tough but young. I say y'all take advantage of their youth, but it's close. You guys by 7.

I know for my part, last week was embarassing! Hey, eaglefan, I thought Clifton wasn't playing? Can't get your info straight? Footballmaniac, I see you want to talk mess after the fact but you won't say nothing before the game! What's the matter? Scared? I dare you to say something to McGougan's face! He'll mess you up! As for this week, if nobody else wants to go out there and hit the Jackets in the mouth, I more than ready to go! I'm sick of watching the team everywhere and acting like the season's over! I'm sitting there on the sidelines supporting the starters, but they ain't doing anything! I've got to give it up to the o-line for last week. They came to play. That was the best blocking they've done all season. Now, if the backs run the ball right, everything will go our way. This week, I wouldn't want to be a Springfield football player. We're going to win by double digits. That's all I've got to say about that.

Mount Juliet over Stratford (just based on secondhand info and stats) Northwest over White House (we've played both teams and NW was tougher) Whites Creek over Pearl Cohn (Whites Creek has played amazing since we beat them) Northeast over Maplewood (Northeast is playing well, and I'm not saying that just 'cause they killed us) Rossview over Springfield (we practiced well this week and are a more physical and experienced line) We (the Hawks, baby) have to win one more to ensure a bowl game. With any luck, we may get another shot at the Eagles, because I think we can beat them and I know they've got E.J. and Snead, and most of the team upset off because they felt it necessary to talk trash. All of us seniors want to make this season memorable, so we feel the need to win. If we can get the rest of the team on the same page, we'll win our next two, including senior night against Stratford.

Actually, the backup is a much better runner, but it won't matter either way. We have over six hundred pounds between our two d-tackles, a lot of speed from our DE's, and awesome strength from our LB's. Unfortunately, our leading rusher is out for the season, but his backup is as good a runner. When we win our last three games, including Stratford, it'll be an intresting playoff selection. I'm still confident that we're going to the playoffs, and even if we don't, we'll go to a bowl. Either way, it'll be our best season so far.

The eagles are talking a bunch of stuff like they always do, but we are gonna talk with our pads and show the turkey's, I mean "eagles", why we're going to the playoffs and they're just going home.
