  1. cats won big 27-7 over whiteco . game was not as close as score was. cats fumbled two times inisde the 15yrd line going in and dropped a td pass. white co scored off of a big play and other than that the cats didnot let them close to scoring any more. congrats to the cats on another great year and remaining the hottest team in aaa ball. keep working and get ready for next year. good job to the coachs and players. srs you will be missed thanks for all the great times and memories. 2. oldchsman Posted on Oct 19 - 04:22 PM MC fans are full of it! oldchsman, this sounds like sour grapes toward MCHS because of the SCHS defeat by MCHS. I, for one, am happy to see them having such a great year. Hard work and dedication pays off, not to mention a great coach. Dyer has brough class and success to the Tiger team. Allow Macon County their due.
  3. Wow! What an exciting game between the cats and the Panthers. As a LA fan, I was delighted with the victory (two years in a row ) over the Panthers. Livingston fans always look forward to playing teams like Portland who are known for great football. However, I was sorely disappointed by the lack of sportsmanship displayed on the gridiron on Friday night. Portland players received penalties for dirty play between the whistles and foul language beforee the ball was snapped. I also witnessed irate behavior by Portland coaches toward the officials. I would think that Portland High School would want to represent itself in a more positive manner. Come on Coach, teach your boys how to represent their team, school, community, and families in a way to bring honor instead of reproach. With this type of behavior, I can understand why Portland has had two or three players ejected from games this year. Players should be taught how to handle a loss as graciously as a win. Way to go LA!!
