As far as beating Elizabethton in a scrimmage, a scrimmage is just that - a scrimmage and players were being played out of position. Brittany Smith, one of our pitchers and better hitters, was not there, which doesn't make any difference but beating someone in a scrimmage doesn't really count for anything. I think the question was who did they play, not who did they scrimmage anyway. If my memory holds correct, EHS beat Unaka twice last year (10-0 and 7-3) in true games.
I'm not knocking you guys, I hope Unaka goes on and wins the State, I'm just comparing apples to apples.

And last year is last year too. Why does everyone always get defensive when they are mentioned in a post as beaten. It's no disgrace and yes a scrimmage is a scrimmage, but Unaka has played a tough schedule to get better and I'm sure Elizabethton has too.
