The title of this thread bashes all of EAST TENNESSEE and if you can not see that then you need to keep Maryville out of your threads and posts and talk about other things and if you SIR write your sales letters and offend your customers the way you offended most on this thread then you must be starving.

I understand what you are saying but watching some coaches (HOOVER) that they have huge egos and take the highschool football experience too far .You give an inch they will take a mile one game then two games. Central has a very good chance to win

I have said this before and I will say it again this is HIGHSCHOOL football the only reason to play other states in football or anyother HIGHSCHOOL sport is they border the town where the school is .People that are so obsessed with seeing this happen need understand that these kids need to be in school learning Monday thru Friday and playing on Friday night in close proximity of their own town .Maryville Alcoa William Blount and Heritage have sent several players to D1 and D2 schools on full rides so what do they need to prove to anybody . We have a good time in Blount county on Friday nights playing eachother friends playing friends they have known since peewee and that is what we enjoy. Parents on other teams tailgating togather ragging eachother on who will win having a much better time with each other than a four or five hour drive .As for the teams that you call cupcake teams and they read this Im sure it makes them feel good that you think that they are not worthy to put on a uniform and go out and performe this must help out thier confidence a great deal. The only thing I see about going out of state is to inflate coaches egos and give people like you something to fill your day.We have good quality football in East Tennessee so you need not worry yourself and lose sleep thinking about it. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

That had to be the best highschool football game I have ever seen .Congrats to Maryville on a well played game .The o line did a outstanding job of containing a good W.B. defense ( TAYLOR STINNETT) on MR.Walker.
