Fulton you better be ready, Covington plays with alot of heart and they never give up. They are not a big team, but they are very fast and our well coached. No matter how bleak it seems they stay focused. they gave us our only losses this year ( both by only 4 points), they are a very determine team. Idon't want to give you any infomation other than this because I WANT THEM TO WIN. GOOD LUCK CHARGERS see you next year.

You should be talking to Charger00 about showing some class. All we are asking for is a little bit of respect. We deserve it!!!!

Charger00, I will be sitting in my commfy chair polishing our Regional 7-3A championship trophy. Singing we are the champions my friend.

Charger00, I understand some people can't except things. But you can cry and whine allyou want to but that does not change the standings. You will just have to wait till next year to do that.

There is no such thing as co-champs,either your the top team or your not. If Covington is the co-champs along with Ripley and Obion,then how come TSSAA listed them as the #3 in region 7-3a. Unless you win the state this year you can't claim you won anything,and if you don't win what good did it do to play Milan or Germantown. The only thing it done was cost you the region. Maybe you will learn a lesson about playing a team (Germantown) you can't beat. I hope Covington can go all the way, but no matter what Ripley is still 7-3A CHAMPS!!!!!!!

I think we should have won,but you have to admit it was the best game you have ever seen. Covington defense has to be commended,they held Ripley out of the endzone on first an goal three times. Also as I said in another post that Carter and Hendrix both had to have a good game for Ripley to win. Carter did but Hendrix didn't, that is the difference in the game. It's ashame that either team had to lose after the way they both played. I do believe in over time on forth down you have to kick the field goal and make Covington score a TD to win,but Ialso realize that the coach felt that we had to score a TD to win that a fieldgoal would not do it. Also when you have a punishing RB like Flagg and a kicking game like we have had this year, its hard not to run the ball on 4th and 2. After the game was over my son came out of the fieldhouse you could tell he was very upset,he walk up to me and said it was not the coaches fault we lost. I think if the players don't blame the coach then we shouldn't either. Good luck TIGERS next year I'm looking forward to another good season. You are still 7-3a CHAMPS!!!!!!

Charger fan I just wanted to correct you on one thing we are region champs not co-champs. If you're tied in the region - it goes to overall record. But just wanted to congratulate you-Covington on their win tonight. Their defense deserves the game ball, they held Ripley out of the end zone on first and goal several times. Even though we lost to ya'll tonight, it was the best game that I have seen in a long time. Good Luck with Brighton next week. Hope you go all the way.

Obion Co 27 Brighton 7 Good luck Obion. Hope to see you next week in Ripley. I think Brighton just play above their heads last week, you should win easily. Sure we would like to play Brighton if we win, but that ain;t going to happen.

I agree with Timbertalker, We need to strengthen our team by using more people . If we will do this it will keep the starters fresh and allowed them to be more efficiant. GOOD LUCK TIGERS!!!!!!!

I believe Ripley has the better team,but here lately we have not been playing well. If Hendrix and Carter have a big game Ripley will win by 14. Charger00 what is your predictions.

I predict Ripley will win by 14 if they come to play, if not, Covington by 7. Ripley does have a field goal kicker-we're just not using him. Kind of hard to explain, it's complicated ain't it Timbertalker?

I'm not trying to start a argument, But it seems like every time a team loses a close game its the officials. This can't always be the case. There is a lot of action on the field, You can't see everything. I'm not saying the officials that worked this game made a mistake, I'm saying instead of complaining do something about it. Become an official.They need new officials every year, But be advised if you our doing it for the money you are wasting your time. Most officials I know are out there because they love the game and care about the boys. All I'm trying to say is the next time you see a bad call, Remember the officials are human to.

I could care less if HC wins. My team is out of region 7-3A. GO TIGERS All I have heard out of you CRC & SOSO is how the officials cost you the game. Your acting just like children blaming it on somebody else. Neither one of you were on the field, So you don't really know what happen.

I just wanted to reply to Ridgeway about them clearly being the best team. If you were so much better than HC then how did one call made by the Ref cost you the game. It appears they are just looking for someone to blame. Besides I don't think the only mistake made in this game was by an official. I'm sure the coaches and the players made some to. But untill you have officiated a game and understand what all is envolved, just keep your opinion to yourself.Besides that is all it is an OPINION.

I just wanted everybody to know that coach Pratt won COACH OF THE YEAR last night at the Northwest Football Assoc. banquet. Also as I said in another post that the road to the final game will be through Crockett Co. Good Luck Ripley Tigers against Covington.

Crockett Co. always has a weak schedule, But they still beat Covington in the playoffs. So your theory of playing a stronger schedule to make you a better team is not always true. The road to the final game is through Crockett Co.

Lets be honest, Covington is a good team. You have to play good ball to beat them. Ripley fell a little short of that goal, But I believe if they play again Ripley will win. If you remember the only way covington score on Ripley was field position in the 3rd quarter ( block punt & fumble ). Ripley's defence did not allowed covington to move the ball. About Obion Co they are a good team as well. The comment about them losing to Trenton, Does that also mean that Covington should not get any respect because they lost to Obion Co. If I had to rank these teams 1st, 2nd, or 3rd it would be hard to do. If you will notice all 3 of these teams are pick to win in the first round, that tells alot about our region.
