  1. Yep, i remember that game, standing at half court as the ball went in during the free throw, great all around game by both teams. As for the trash talking in the other posts, dont listen to that idiot, tigermania or tigerinsania. The people from whitwell have not trash talked, i dont even know if they are from whitwell, tried to get them to come talk to me at a game, we will see tonight if they show there face.

Dont worry so much bout tigergaysia theyr not goin to man up and tell us who they r. cuz if they did they kno wat would happen to them. but it would b funny  then we could post about that. and im sure evrybody would comment on that would wouldnt yall?????????????

  2. Here's the genious that said Whitwell will dominate this year. And I'm leaving stupid posts? If chumps like you didn't play, we might actually win a game or two this year. Then, we might get our middle school. You'll probably be South Pittsburg's MVP tonight.

Once again, I'll say it. Or I'll "procede" (proceed) to say it. Whitwell wins this one for the middle school. And for those quality CoachT members like Pirate2003, who pay $$$ to talk about high school kids (fast track to an appearance on NBC's Dateline), my keys to the game are: if South Pittsburg doesn't bother to show up, they'll lose this one. If they do: It'll depend on SP's defense because they'll score at will. Happy? GO MIGHTY TIGERS! (They're GRRRRRRREEEAT, except for bballstud2008!)

come talk 2 me and ill hav ur skooling rite there!!!!!!!!!! ill show u some of the things i learned in skool. some of those im sure u have nevr gotten!!!!!!!!!!!!!! others ill teach u with fists!

  3. hehehehe. thanks condra. good to know you've got a sense of humor. i was getting worried about you. however, i had a 4.0 and every senior in my class went to an ivy league school.....so........

well "tigermania" y dont u just tell who u are then if all ur friends went to an ivy league skool. cuz if u dont kno who i am then heres a hint my bro is a soph and plays for whitwell. do u kno? well y dont u just come talk to me bout it "buddy". i bet he could take you. or r u jus scared?? huh r u? yea i played evrythang for whitwell and i think we were alrite my senior year we jus didnt hav any size. i was the tallest at 6'1. but we were in almost every game. so who r u? u think u could take this?

  4. Whitwell plays Notre Dame this week (homecoming), who crushed Polk County (gave Tyner a run for their money). The Tigers may have their hands full this week as the Irish are looking for revenge after a close homecoming loss last season.

Boyd-Buchanan has an off week before finishing the season against Copper Basin.

With last week's win Boyd clinched the Region 3-1A Championship. They have outscored region opponents 164-0.

Matt Peardon of Boyd-Buchanan (162 points) is 5 points shy of the single-season scoring record for the Chattanooga Area. The current record is held by Tennessee RB Gerald Riggs, who set the record during Red Bank's 5A State Championship season.

Any details from the South Pittsburg-Copper Basin game?

Stats are listed in the Chattanooga Times Free Press every Friday. Those listed above are ones that were in the paper.

Boyd has already clinched the #1 seed for Region 3-1A and Copper Basin will be the #4 seed. The Whitwell-South Pittsburg winner will be #2, while the loser will be #3.

  5. Boyd Buchanan won 56-0 tonight against Lookout Valley. Matt Peardon rushed for 3 TD in the 1st half and had one called back. Boyd was up 35-0 at halftime and didn't play the starters in the 2nd half. They have put up awesome numbers in the region, outscoring their opponents 164-0.

Whitwell lost a 14-6 heartbreaker against Grundy County last night. For the Jackets, Dustin Fults returned an interception 85 yds for a touchdown and rushed for another. Jonathan Pellam led the Tigers with 115 yards and a rushing touchdown. Whitwell had 2 touchdowns called back because of penalties.

  6. Whitwell almost made a huge comeback last week at Sequatchie County, but lost 20-14. Grundy got hammered 41-14 by Coffee County. The key to this game is if the Tigers will be able to contain Mr. Grundy County, Dustin Fults. The kid is a great athlete in baseball, and basketball as well. If Whitwell plays like they did in the 2nd half last week then they will beat the Jackets. Does anyone know how long it has been since Whitwell has beaten Grundy?
