The Tigers will host Bledsoe County and Chattanooga Central on Tuesday at 5 PM. This will be the Tigers' second scrimmage of the fall and this should be a good tune-up for the Sequatchie Valley Jamboree on August 23. The Tigers beat Bledsoe in the spring and have improved since then. If anyone knows anything about Central, please pass it along.
All I know is that Huntland has 77 players. This team will finish no worse than 5-5, even with the departure of last year's season.
Sequatchie, we have somewhere between 30-40 players this season.

The Sequatchie Valley Jamboree will be held at Whitwell High School on August 23. It will begin at 6:00 CST. I will post a schedule as soon as possible. I know that Whitwell will play Grundy County in the 1st quarter, and will finish it up in the 7th quarter against Marion County.
Whitwell lost some key players last season , but that should not keep them from being a threat to win the Region 3-1A Championship this season. We return many starters, and many other quality players. This team should finish no worse than 5-5.
On Friday afternoon at 5 PM, there will be a 3-way scrimmage at Whitwell High School. The Tigers will take on York Institute and Huntland. Does anyone know anything about York or Huntland?
Does anyone know anything about how the Frost Falcons have been playing? I know a girl that plays on that team and all I know is that they have won their fist 3 games of the tournament.
I have seen Coach Ruehling at football workouts, but have yet to had the chance to speak with him. Does anyone know anything about him? Record, previous coaching jobs, where he played? All I know is he was assistant at Grundy County.
In my two years on the team, we have been runner-up in District 6-A twice and lost to Boyd-Buchanan in the first round of the Region 3-A Tournament. Back in 1989, the Tigers won the District and Region Championships and were one game away from the Class A State Tournament.
The head baseball coaching position at Whitwell was vacated earlier this month. I don't think it has been filled yet. Grundy County pitching coach Brad Brown is the front-runner for the job.
