Sonny has more weapons than just Rod and I think people forget this. He can get it to Jesse Torres, Will Martin, Maceo, and Antoine Hendricks. Don't forget Jonah Hendricks. Jonah has not played much offense this year with Rod, Crouch, Torres, and Martin splitting PT, but he has played DB. I think he could step up and contribute now that Crouch won't play next week.

Hendricks hurt his ankle so he couldn't practice or play last week

Smyrna, Riverdale, Lebanon, and Oakland all play each other so basically it's the top half of the region against each other and the bottom half of the region against each other.

nah, after Rod and Sonny graduate next year, smyrna will struggle to get to .500

Smyrna needs some new guys on defense to step it up and make some plays instead of relying on Reuben, Josh Day, and Rod Wilks all the time. Especially our D-line. We can't keep missing sacks like we have been. I think if we have some new guys step up, than Smyrna might pull out the win.

With Blackman and Lavergne edging out Lebanon and Oakland, maybe the 3rd and 4th spot aren't as locked in as we thought. What are your thoughts on how the race has reshaped itself?

I think there will be a Stewart Creek High School in rutherford county right outside of Smyrna to the west within the next few years.

Smyrna and Lavergne high school are so close that it's not that big of a deal location wise, but talent wise I can see why people would be jealous

You're right. I think there is a stereotype for Smyrna people being arrogant and obnoxious because of a handful of people on this website. Same goes for people at every other school, but Smyrna's has been magnified ten times more because of those few posters on here.

I think everybody just hates Smyrna. Smyrna believes they can win every game. I don't see what the problem is with being confident in your own team. Now all of you anti-Smyrna posters will come on here and reply with: "That's not why we don't like them. It's because they're too cocky, arrogant, etc......." I'm just going to stop defending us because I really don't care anymore about what anyone from any other school thinks or says about Smyrna. You either love us or you hate us......... but mostly you hate us. That's fine with me because everytime we win will be THAT much sweeter.
