Region4, Before you continue with your threats I suggest you go back and read page 6 again. I DID NOT say ANYTHING to you about defending anyone. Got the wrong person. You're right this is America and not Russia and that is exactly why I had the right to tell Oakland my opinion about him being so vocal about a team his cousin plays for. Seems to me you are the one trying to take that right away from me. You two are carrying this to a crazy level. And, THAT is the very kind of "off the field" behavior I was talking about. Bottom line...2 extremely good teams are playing Friday night. They wouldn't have reached this level if BOTH teams weren't doing a lot of things right. rhshasbeen66, if all this talk is useless why even bother to respond? Better read the post again. I was trying to get a point across to oaklandfballer. I DID NOT offer an opinion on what is in the hearts of middle tennessee football players. I commented on what SHOULD be in the hearts of all the football players on AND off the field. You stated that our boys had better have what I'm talking about in their hearts Friday night.............if you had taken the time to read the entire conversation you would have realized I was talking to oaklandfballer about OFF the field! So, leave our boys out of this nonsense. For your information. I haven't once commented on Riverdale. My comments were to oaklandfballer (an oakland player). I know nothing about Riverdale except what I read. I know they are a highly regarded team with a superb coach. The city of Oak Ridge is excited and prepared to offer the Riverdale Warriors a warm welcome. ROLL WILDCATS ROLL!!

Oakie: Get a grip. Look back and tell me if I have ever commented on the ABILITY of middle tennessee or ANY team? What I am trying to talk to you about is something you carry with you in your heart. It has nothing to do with seeing a team play, it has everything to do with watching how they behave off the field as well. Behaviour is measured in many different ways.....actions, words, deeds, etc. When all is said and done, what you carry in your heart matters most. What do you carry in yours? Hey, Region4 and Oakie, so, so, so, so, so very glad you guys aren't my relatives! Region is one thing, team mates are one thing, playing with the same kids from Boy's Club through Middle School and then separating is one thing. I understand that you will always have a special place for those boys in your heart. BUT, blood is one thing, CRAWLING beside each other (as toddlers), sharing Holidays, growing up together is another thing all together! To actually get on this public board and not even care if a cousin sees you pulling for Riverdale is displaying a total lack of character! Oakie: Better make sure those rival football buddies are there to be your "family". Seems you think more of them than blood. Region4: As for you, you must not have had a very happy childhood and not a very good family atmosphere or you would understand me when I say that "NOTHING, AND I MEAN NOTHING COMES BEFORE FAMILY!!" Oaklandfballer: Shame on you if you have a cousin playing for Oak Ridge. I can understand you pulling for your region if your team is out. But, I CAN NEVER understand you pulling against a cousin playing on a team in the semifinals!!! Is this sour grapes on your part? Up here in East Tennessee family and loyalty are number 1!
