Hello District 2AA fans! Just wanted to start a thread for the 2004-2005 season. It looks like another exciting season for all teams in this district. Correct me if I'M wrong but I Believe 2AA action gets underway tomorrow night 11\30\2004. Since I love the PIONEERS lets start with them. The Pioneers kick off district action at Rutledge in a rematch of the District Championship game against the Pigeon Forge Tigers. Should be a good game but with tourney MVP Dewyse back to lead the Tigers the Pioneers will really have to have a great game. The loss of two four year starters and 40 points a game have made things really tough for the Pioneers. It should be interesting to see how the Pioneers respond this season. I know they are currently 2-1 but I haven't got to see them play yet. A nice stretch of home games should give me a chance to see if they can be a factor or if they are simply rebuilding. I'm not sure about other 2AA action. If you are a fan and know a score or who your team plays let us all know. LET'S keep this thread going all year! Good luck 2AA Fans!

Any fans out there know records or outcomes of District 2AA games? It is hard to rely on scoreboard because alot of teams do not report scores. Rutledge won over Claiborne and the Pioneers are 7-4 in the 2AA while the Bulldogs are 5-4. Union got hammered by Pigeon and their record is 5-4 while the Tigers are 8-2. G.P. and C.G. played but not sure of outcome. S.G. and C.D. played but no word. West Greene played outside the District but are winless at 0-10. However, word has it that they are much better and have improved over the year playing within 5 points of C.G. Any fans out there? Get on this thread and lets keep it going throughout the season. Rutledge wins over Claiborne in a hard fought game by both sides. Score was Pioneers 50 and Bulldogs 45. Singleton continues to impress with all around good play on offense and defense. Singleton made clutch baskets while Ryan Hudson looked impressive on the boards. Early foul trouble to the Pioneers kept them from doing alot of the things that they like to do. However, still a good win over a tough Bulldog team.

Can anyone say who's playing tonight? I know Rutledge and G.P. play and should be a good one. Any info on South Greene or Union Co. What about Pigeon Forge or Cumberland Gap. Did Chuckey Doak beat Union Co.? Just wondering? Nobody seems to know or care. Anyone out there?

Just wondering how this district is going? I know Pigeon is 2-0 and Rutledge is 3-1. I heard South Greene is 3-1. Are there any followers out there with info on Claiborne County, Cumberland Gap, Union County, West Greene, Chuckey Doak, or Gatlinburg Pittman? Grapevine has it GP is at 2-2. BIG DISTRICT! Haven't seen alot on the board. Anybody know?
