  1. When a referee has to tell the official scorekeeper (who is also the home team coach's wife) "you told me you wouldn't do this" when she yells at the referee for making a bad call that you're getting some home cooking. And not to mention when the final buzzer sounds, the referee turns to the home crowd and tells one of the fans "see ya buddy!" then runs off the court. How is it possible for referees that are "buddies" with the home crowd be allowed to officiate a game that will end one team's season? Not to mention the foul count for the game was 25-13 the home team with the lesser. This shouldn't be allowed.

the official scorekeeper is yelling at the official? and whose unprofessional?

  2. Bottom line is Fryer cheats and everyone knows it. In fact, in the video when you look at his face - he knows he is cheating. As for a penalty I wouldn't expect much from T-$$AA - they can't even pay their own bills.

In conclusion, Fryer cheats and we all know it.

  3. I heard a rumor the TSSAA couldn't make payroll last month. Say it ain't so. If it is, what are they doing with all the money? Ronnie Carter has been gone a month or two and the place is already falling apart. I'm sure they are blaming him. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  4. I listened to the game on the radio. Bradford girls were being called for fouls left and right. Every time I heard the whistle blow on the radio, I knew that it was gonna be a Bradford foul. In fact, the announcers, who were very pro Madison on 101.5, said that Oliver got called for her fourth foul I believe, and she came no where near even touching the girl....that the girl just lost the ball out of bounds on her own. I will say that if the refs had let yall play, instead of calling it tight, then Bradford would have beaten yall. But, that's just my humble opinion. I mean, Bradford's best players, Wallsmith and Oliver, sat on the bench for most of the game. Wallsmith only played 2 minutes of the entire second half. That is what won yall the game.

complaining about those dang referees based on a radio broadcast! - unbelievable new level of not real bright.

  5. Ha Ha. You're being funny. No one is so stupid as to believe that players have the right to slide.... You were kidding right??? I mean, you're NOT that dumb, right.

He's NOT that dumb, but apparently you are. If you don't know that one then what do you know? Why should we listen to you about anything when you just destroyed your credibility. Let's just say you were misinformed and not really stupid.

  6. That's the kind of CRAP we have had all year in 8A...........we would be better off letting the players call their own fouls..wouldn't be much difference.

Good News - now that you are eliminated, you can do just that. Have a nice spring.

  7. First off, don't ever question my integrity by questioning if I am telling the truth. I have no reason to get on a message board and make that crap up. Secondly, calm down. I was just saying that a few of the officials that I have seen should not be on the court. They are more interested in their own agenda than worrying about the real emphasis of the game, the kids. As for the punishment of the officials, as a football official if I intentionally call a bad game or get into a verbal sparring match with the coach (and it can be proven) then I would welcome the punishment. I should not be out there to help determine the outcome. Just my opinion. I would say that in basketball that less than 5% of the officials are what I am describing. As for not being an official because I would not say these things if I were, what do you think a supervisor does. He criticizes officials and lets them know what they are doing wrong. They are officials themselves that are there to critique the other officials. I am not saying that I am one of those people that go into a gym and berate officials, I actually understand the human error factor since I do officiate football. I refuse to become a two sporter because I have called basketball before and it is a thankless job, even more so than football. I never said you could not do a quality job without me, I am saying that some just simply should not be out there. So sorry to hurt your feelings and bring you into reality, but not all officials are as honest as you would like them to be.

so, let me get this straight. it's not ok for others to question you, but its ok for you to question other peoples integrity. well GOD it's great to finally meet you.

  8. i heard that the mount juliet coach was crying after the game against lavergne and got a technical foul. then he ran off the floor. the person telling me this thought he was ejected but i thought you had to get two technicals before you were ejected.
