  1. No doubt..........Kent Smith at Bradley. One look at there regular season schedule tells you that his record is not a joke. If you need a comparison the best I can think of is Pat Summit's schedule. The only easy games are scheduled because they are required. Baconbreath, your stats are great. Save me two seats tomorrow night. Go Bears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I am not saying he was out of control, he was over the line. He was upset with the time keeper because of the way he was handling the clock. He was correct to be upset because the time keeper was not doing a very good job. He made mistakes in 3 of the 5 games I watched. He should have backed off a little and pleaded his case more with the officials in an appropriate manner. I will say this, you people need to understand that very school has good and bad fans. The bad fans draw the most attention. Everyone wants to call each others fans classless. The are classless fans in all schools, districts and regions. In most cases the players have more class than their fans. I saw the players from Bradley, Cleveland, McMinn and Rhea all cutting up before and after their games because they are just that...games. Do I want Bradley to win, of course but I will be pulling hard for Rhea as well. Just as I would do for Cleveland. I have read many threads were fans are supporting their area schools who are also rivals. Coach Green is very emotional and needs to learn to keep it in check but he is doing a good job at Cleveland.
  3. It will be a nightmare if Shelbyville pushs for up tempo. Anybody who is familiar with Bradley knows that the only way these teams have stayed within 10 points in the tournaments is by slowing them down. Bradley is the best in the state in an up and down game and their defense is incredible in transition. Not taking anything away from Shelbyville but they better slow it down or be prepared to be exposed to every weakness they may have.
  4. Bradley is one of if not the best defensive team in the state. The three games they lost were due to sub-par offensive games and not to bad defense. Not to take anything away from Cleveland or Oak Ridge but if the Bears are on no one in the state can beat them. I have never seen a high school team press like they do, I just wish they did it more. I hope Shelbyville is ready if they apply it. Just ask the Blaze about last year. Pickle is lethal with his quick hands and rarely do the Bears leave the passing lanes open.
  5. Best defensive player in the state is Kellen Pickle of Bradley Central. Even with a right hand that is less than 100% he was absolutely the difference in the Bradley win over Rhea. Rhea scored 30 points in the first 13 mintues and then Bradley applied pressure with Kellen on Cooper. Rhea scores only 20 points the remainder of the game and if Bradley does not miss several open 3's in the second half Rhea looses by 15 or 20. Rhea is a great team but Bradley is just one of those once in a generation teams with loads of talent. Go Bears!! Go Eagles(beat Oakland)
