who is going to be the new coach? Any ideas?

I heard Joe Gaddis (used to coach at Oak ridge and Tullahoma, now somewhere in MIssissippi) has the job but it hasn't been made public.

I really doubt this to be true. OR is it?

I also coach baseball, and it seems to me that a couple of years back we played against some freshman on Henry County's baseball team. Are those kids allowed to play over at the high school in the other sports? Is that why they have to count them toward classification? I really don't know. I guess I should read TSSAA rules to answer that question.

it would be interesting to know the number and names of those contacted and those who have rejected the offer. who are those people? you obviously have inside information. i have not heard any official notification.

 

as far as the attractiveness of the position--it would seem that all the district and regional titles in the nineties would speak for itself--i remember a standing room only crowd watching a semi-final game against gallatin in the mid nineties--excuses are easy --whinners are a dime a dozen

 

by the way, what does henry county pay a head coach?

Which Region was Henry County in during this time? Did they travel to Nashville then also? Just curious?

Interesting!! ELA I read in another post that you were at the coaches clinic this past weekend. Did you hear anything about this job? Just thought you might have heard what all the coaches were saying about the HC job. Hope you check this post and know something.

come on turbo! What's the story? No one seems to know. Just keep hearing some assistants that are on staff now may get job. Maybe this is not true because they were waiting for Huntingdon to finish the season. Just wondering what you know?

I heard this weekend that they were not naming a new coach until after the 1st of the year. Don't know if this is true or not . I heard it from another coach.

also a question for Dan Patrick: Is the Milan coach you are talking about Coach Morris? Surely he would not leave Milan for Henry County! Is this a true rumor or just talk?

Hey Nike, you seem to know alot about the situation and what is going on. Who is the real rumor to get the job? I am a coach looking for a new job and I am curious to who might be the new coach at Henry Co. Does anyone have any clues? I was at the state games this weekend and noone seemed to know anything. It is very quiet for such a good place. I am just wondering if maybe it is not a good job as I thought. I was told that several head coaches in the area already turned down the job. Is this true? Oh well just curious if you had any info.

I did not see them play, but they must have done a good job to get them into the playoffs and have that good record.

Just curious if anyone in that area has heard who has applied and who is interviewing? Please do not turn this thread into a bash thread that will get locked? I am really interested in finding out who may get the job, so I can call them and set up the possibility of being an asst. coach with them. Any info??
